We teamed up with our fellow Long Island-based boating company, Sea Eagle, for a day on the water! We had the opportunity to test out their FastCat14 inflatable boat powered by two of our electric outboards: the ePropulsion Spirit 2 and the Momentum M10. In our recent YouTube video, we give you an overview of the FastCat14 and both electric motors before heading out onto the water to put them to the test. We had a great time chatting with Dan from Sea Eagle, putting both motors to the test on the water, and seeing the FastCat14 in action. We’re excited to announce that the Momentum U2 is finally here! This is a 2.5kW / 5hp electric outboard manufactured by Momentum Electric Marine. It’s part of the new generation of electric outboards; still portable and a similar weight to the smaller 1kW / 3hp electric outboards that we’re used to, but with 1.5x the power output! The U2 weighs just 41 pounds, features cable free connections between the motor and battery, and has a separate transom bracket. Head over to our website now to pre-order this motor! ⚡️

Our custom built aluminum power cat, Tango One, finally hit the water this summer after years in the making! We worked with a naval architect to design the boat, had it fabricated in Rhode Island, and collaborated with Flux Marine to power it with dual 115HP electric outboards. It has a top speed of 40mph and accelerates faster than any other boat we’ve ever been on.
