I’m back home, DETROIT!

I swapped out my Kelly Green for Honolulu Blue. I’m the new Partnership Graphic Designer for the Detroit Lions and got to kick off my first week during Training Camp!

My heart has been set on securing a position in Detroit for a while now, but getting here was only possible through the incredible people who helped me along the way. So much gratitude to my team at the Philadelphia Eagles who made it their mission to launch me into my next NFL position, and to my professors & advisors at Thomas Jefferson University, some of the most exceptional designers that I can forever call my mentors. Now I’ll be at Ford Field working on my favorite design deliverables from deck presentations to stadium graphics! I’m thrilled to reconnect with my hometown of Detroit and experience the city from a whole new perspective. #onepride by @empenrosegfx

oh hey! you’re back!
My social-media-catch-up continues with a few of my favorite projects so far with the Eagles. @schwenkadelphia [senior designer] develops the season look each year so this past season, i got to help with weekly marketing & promo adventures! This was one of the most exciting projects because i got to see the weekly gameday tune-ins on highway billboards, septa videoboards, the Eagles app and website, which was pretty rad.

[ VESSEL ]

[1-3] Mickalene Thomas’ ‘All About Love’ collection reimagines classical paintings with a fresh vision of beauty. Her original 2015 work ‘Afro Goddess Looking Forward’ is shown in photo 3.

[4-6] Marilyn Monroe redefined the standards for women & sexuality. This feature uses imagery from her appearance in Playboy’s first edition, 1953.

[ VESSEL ]

: chapter 8 replays the digital revolution of the 90s and early 2000s.
In 1990, the first version of Photoshop was released to the public. In 2007, the first phone to combine music, internet, & communication was introduced as iphone. From here, understandings of our world and ourselves change forever.

Part two of [ VESSEL ]

: a series of graphic tees based on magazine features. This first section talks about early ideas of beauty, from classical antiquity, (Aphrodite, goddess of beauty & love) and high renaissance, (DaVinci’s Vitruvian Man, the ideal proportions of the human body). Vessel begins to dissect the meaning of beauty with these early media.
