I’m back home, DETROIT! I swapped out my Kelly Green for Honolulu Blue. I’m the new Partnership Graphic Designer for the Detroit Lions and got to kick off my first week during Training Camp! My heart has been set on securing a position in Detroit for a while now, but getting here was only possible through the incredible people who helped me along the way. So much gratitude to my team at the Philadelphia Eagles who made it their mission to launch me into my next NFL position, and to my professors & advisors at Thomas Jefferson University, some of the most exceptional designers that I can forever call my mentors. Now I’ll be at Ford Field working on my favorite design deliverables from deck presentations to stadium graphics! I’m thrilled to reconnect with my hometown of Detroit and experience the city from a whole new perspective. #onepride

April’s Aimé par Annika! Wanted to have some texture to play with, so there’s some notes in Morse code. 🌷Spring flowers: it has been so lovely to see all my neighbors’ flowers on my walks:) 💪Inbody scan: I have been spending a large portion of my free time at the gym, so figured having some more solid data about my progress would be helpful! Inbody scales break down your body composition to give you a better sense of what your weight is actually comprised of. Wish I had done one before all of my newbie muscle gains🤓 ⬆️ClickUp: this is a productivity software I have been using for myself at work. It has plugins for a million different apps, and is super easy to use. 🚪Emilys house: Because I visited in April and I love this place! Sorry everyone, this isn’t really a recommendation you can bring into your own life. See ya next month! #aiméparannika

I have gone far too long without posting some of @universityoftransit on my own feed. University of Transit was my senior capstone project within the Visual Communication Design program at Thomas Jefferson University @jefferson_vcd last spring. I created a public transit advocacy campaign for college students, using Jefferson’s campus as a case study. The project includes a stamp rally passport, encouraging students to take public transit to fun destinations around the city and showing them how to do it. There are also infographic posters, an on campus map of destinations accessible via the bus route on campus, a social media campaign, merch, and more. You can see more of the project on the @universityoftransit IG and my website, annikazitto.com #universityoftransit #publictransitpassengerprincess

As we FLY into playoffs, I absolutely must celebrate the victories already won. Working with the Eagles, every day I’m greeted by a team whose passion is infectious. My desire to learn is always matched with leadership from someone equally excited to teach, to share- staying past the clock just to invest in MY growth. Isn’t that amazing? I get to spend time with magical design gurus and and my dear friend Adobe, pushing my creative bounds right up until 5:00 when Christine reminds me that I can, in fact, go home. So, for the rest of my professional life, thank you, thank you, thank you. A single post can’t possibly do it justice the way I feel about my new job. So with that, stay tuned, humans! #gobirds

Hey! We have an exciting upcoming activation and we’d love to see you there: Consonant Collective will be operating up a pop-up shop in the FWM Store at The Fabric Workshop and Museum the weekend of Thanksgiving, November 29th & 30th. We’ll have two tables with a selection of published books by Katie Haegele and Joe Carlough, including Kitchen Witch, Cat Party!, Spiritbox, and Queer Horror, as well as our zines How to Have Fun at the Ren Faire, How to Have Fun Rockhounding, Wild Life, and Cryptid Trip. We’ll also have lathe cut records made in our home studio, such as freestyle jazz from The Blind Seekers (ft. members of Murder City Devils, Fleet Foxes, Constant Lovers, Afrocop), twee folk releases from Philadelphia’s own Joe Jack Talcum (Dead Milkmen), a brand new protest EP from lauren.napier, as well as poetry records, DIY movie soundtracks, and more. Lastly, we’ll debut a myriad of colored 7” records made specially for this event called The Living Temple, which will feature songs we crafted that were not only inspired by the current Moki Cherry exhibit at the FWM, but were built around sounds, noises, vocalizations, and other audio oddities we recorded in the museum itself: the sounds of screen prints being pulled, new screens being stapled to frames, the power washer being used, and the ambient sounds of the museum itself. See you at the FWM! <3 Joe & Katie ————————— Consonant Collective

BEYOND thrilled to have been a part of this project <3 Our exhibition at the Palazzo Mora for the 2025 Venice Biennale was made possible by an amazing and passionate team of designers who share a vision for change. It was an adventure that taught me another entire dimension of animation design, and brought incredible new people into my creative community. So much thanks, everybody!! (shoutout to my lil tour guide & adventure buddy @iguannika )
