Today was simple for me.

Just be there for my daughter.

Harmani did it.

She planted the seed at @pennstate knew exactly what she wanted, worked for it, and now she’s moving in.

I can’t take credit for that. I was just her guide when she had questions, needed some help, or needed Dad to show up.

She knew where she wanted to go.

And she got there.

Today wasn’t about me having the right words or giving some big life lesson.

It was about getting up at 5:30 in the morning, helping move her into her dorm, cleaning, organizing, and making sure she was good before I left.

@js_cactus_juice !!! I’m extremely proud of you.

You did it.

Now go grow that seed you planted.

Dad will always be here when you need me.

2021 Project with Footlocker

In 2021, I collaborated with local artists and friends to create creative content. Footlocker provided a budget to support these artists, allowing us to showcase our cultural heritage through our artwork.

In my opinion, the most significant moment was witnessing the children gradually become comfortable and trusting of those around them. Engaging in activities such as sharing ideas, singing, and rapping aloud can be challenging for children. Music has been instrumental in fostering my own confidence. I sincerely hope that this day will become a cherished memory for them, serving as a valuable resource for their future endeavors.

Last year, we had the privilege of collaborating with children at Rutgers University through the Social Activism through the Arts program, facilitated by the @ejmfoundation. Our objective was to demonstrate to students the transformative power of utilizing their talents and voices to effect positive change.

Regrettably, we were unable to complete the class due to the unforeseen emergence of COVID-19. Despite this setback, we were able to produce a class song together with the invaluable assistance of my close family and friends. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to @imlesterlondon for their exceptional producing talents and the entire team for their remarkable contributions. Their efforts were truly exceptional. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to resume our work in the future.

It’s hard to explain myself when everything was just a Theory.

I’ve been learning that you have to move through life with intention.

Some decisions feel completely different when you’re standing in the moment than they do when you have to live with them afterward.

And the truth is, not everybody is going to understand what you carry. Not everybody is even going to care.

That’s why I’m learning to listen closer to that voice inside of me.

As a man, I have to be able to make decisions that I can live with not just today, but years from now.

Because sometimes life gets quiet…

and you’re left with nothing but your thoughts and the things that could’ve been.

Nobody asked me to do food ASMR… but here we are.

Stopped at Banh Mi Factory & Pho in Sewell and grabbed a bowl of veggie pho with grilled chicken on the side.

Then for some reason I decided this was my opportunity to become an ASMR food creator.

Slurping the soup.
Chewing extra loud.
Making unnecessary noises.
Flirting with the bowl a little bit.

I apologize in advance to everybody who hates the sound of people eating.

To everybody else… turn the volume ALL the way up.

The food was good though!

Today I got off the trail.

I spent about five hours hiking through Wissahickon, but at one point I decided to stop following the trail and started walking up the stream instead.

No path. Just rocks, water, and figuring out where to put my foot next.

Sometimes there isn’t a trail for where you’re trying to go.

Sometimes life gets rocky. Sometimes you’re going against the current. Sometimes you have to slow down and figure out your next step before you take it.

But just because there isn’t a path doesn’t mean you’re going the wrong way.

I didn’t need to know every step ahead of me.

I just needed to find the next one.

One thing I’m learning on this journey: stop comparing.

Comparing where I am to somebody else can make me forget how much work it took just to get here.

Somebody will always be ahead of you. Somebody will always have more. And if you keep looking around, you’ll miss what’s happening in your own life.

The work, the time, the pain, the lessons… none of it was for nothing.

I don’t have to become somebody else.

I just have to keep becoming a better version of me.

Keep doing the work. Keep growing. And when it’s time for something new to come into your life, make room for it.

Fantasy Football Draft Day 2026

Everybody walked into the draft thinking they were an NFL GM. Everybody got a strategy, everybody got a sleeper, and somehow everybody thinks they won the draft.

I’m feeling pretty good about my squad though.

Josh Allen at QB.
Jonathan Taylor + Travis Etienne Jr. in the backfield.
Rashee Rice + Ladd McConkey at WR.
Dalton Kincaid at TE.
Brian Thomas Jr. in the flex.

And I got Jared Goff, TreVeyon Henderson and Tyler Warren sitting on the bench waiting for their opportunity.

And this league is a little different:

🏈 Full PPR
🎯 6-point passing TDs
💪 6-point rushing/receiving TDs
💥 +1 for 40+ yard TDs
🚫 -2 for interceptions

So yeah… QBs MATTER over here.

I think I built something dangerous, but everybody thinks they won the draft on draft night.

BTS of “Catch That Train”

The final video is cool… but watching it all come together was even better.

People getting into character, laughing, running, dancing, missing cues and complete strangers becoming part of the same moment.

That’s what I enjoyed most about this experience.

It looks like we’re just a bunch of people running because we’re late for a train … but behind the scenes, you see what it’s really about: connection.

Sometimes it doesn’t take much to bring people together.

Just an idea, some good energy, and somebody willing to say, “Alright… RUN! THE TRAIN IS LEAVING!”

Sometimes you put on a banana suit… and accidentally find your purpose.

I asked the creator of Caught That Train a simple question:

“Since you put the banana suit on, did you find your purpose? And if so… what is it now?”

Because from the outside, people might just see costumes, people running for trains, and a viral trend.

But after experiencing it myself, I realized there’s something deeper happening.

Community. Joy. Strangers connecting. People giving themselves permission to just have #FUN. #philly

So I wanted to hear what it means from the person who started it.

I always saw the “Catch That Train” videos online, and I thought it was just a trend.

Then today, I got invited to actually experience it.

And I realized… it’s deeper than running to catch a train.

I saw people laughing, dancing, running, and just being present. Moms were there. Dads were there. Parents were dressed up with their kids. Complete strangers came together for one simple reason: pretend we’re all late for the train.

It sounds so simple, but that’s what made it special.

For a little while, nobody cared who knew who. People were connecting, laughing with strangers, being creative, and enjoying the moment together.

Sometimes community doesn’t have to start with some huge idea.

Sometimes it starts with something as simple as “Catch that train.”

I’m glad I got to experience the @sidequesttre vision from the inside instead of just watching it on my phone.

Tomorrow at 6 PM, I’m dropping another video with @sidequesttre and sharing a little more of the story behind it.
