Where communities emerge empowered

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

So grateful for our partnership with @thedanielacademy.

It was such a blessing to facilitate our InnovateU program for their 1st-5th graders this past semester. Literally the highlight of my week!

The students grew an entrepreneurial mindset of possibility, developed leadership skills, grew in confidence and character, and learned to value and work together in teams.
It was a blast! by @empiredreamsinc

I believe in possibility.
I believe that beauty resides in the most desolate parts of our city.
I believe that sometimes all someone needs is a little encouragement, hope and another person willing to walk beside them into new possibility.
I am grateful for the opportunity to walk with countless families into this new possibility.
Please consider donating to support us continuing this ministry.
We are a few thousand down, but quite a ways to go in reaching our matching $75,000

These are my community volunteers. This is our "marketing" strategy. These are the advocates for what we are doing in neighborhoods.
These are the faces of our next CEO's, our next artists, our next politicians.
They are learning to unite around a unified vision, work through conflict, and walk in confidence.
They are beautiful. They are talented. They are valued.
They are our future. by @empiredreamsinc

Nyah's first day of homeschooling ended up with a visit to City Hall to meet with the Neighborhood Services team.

Forest Decker and Gary Jones heard our concerns, shared their resources and embraced our team with sincerity and actionable steps forward. We are so grateful! by @empiredreamsinc

Meet Olivia! A local resident of the Holmes Garden Neighborhood and our first after-school volunteer!
She went from frustrated with some of the young people in the neighborhood to...
1. Inviting them into her home
2. Encouraging and inspiring them to be their best selves
3. Stepping up to be a MENTOR and to DEVELOP one of the nights of our after-school youth program!!! by @empiredreamsinc
