We have an exciting announcement 🤗

It’s been almost 3 years since we have opened shop doors to the public and… with deeply rooted joy, we are happy to say that we are ready for the opportunity to welcome you all in person once again!

I (and we) have missed you. Greatly. I personally have yearned for the days of curating a unique, one of kind, beautiful, meaningful, space for our community and customers to enjoy.

Both my husband and I have been longing to once again collaborate on and provide a shared space and sanctuary where you can: come and take a breath, shed some energetic layers, get centered, heal, find a treasure, a helpful healing tool, take an inspiring workshop, and relish in a place where you just feel good. Connected ✨

So here we are! Come end of September (official date coming soon) we will be opening the doors to 222 Church Street. The gorgeous space we chose is nestled into one of our favorite neighborhoods in Philadelphia… Old City. A place steeped in romance, history, & Philly folklore… so hello Old City 👋🏽😍 Thanks for having us.

We can’t wait to welcome you all in!

✨ Sing. Listen. Connect. Maybe even dance.

Join Daniel Cordua and world-traveled percussionist + pranic healer Corey Solokoff for an evening of blissful kirtan, yoga storytelling, and conscious community at Three Queens Yoga.

Rooted in the Bhakti yoga tradition, kirtan is a joyful practice of call-and-response chanting—less about performance and more about dropping into rhythm, mantra, spirit, and connection.

Between chants, Daniel will share captivating stories and wisdom from the yoga tradition, creating an evening designed to open the heart, quiet the mind, and spark a little joy.

🗓 Saturday, October 3
⏰ 6:30–8 PM
🎟 $25 suggested contribution*

No experience necessary. No need to “know how to sing.” Just come as you are.

*If cost is a barrier, contribute what feels accessible. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

✨ Come as you are. Leave a little lighter.

Register now at the link in bio.

We invite you to join us for the Grand Opening of 🌀 Una Sanctum, our Herbal Apothecary, Gathering Space, Healing Sanctuary, and Holistic Home Shop.

This opening is more than the start of a new space, it is a celebration of the path that brought us here and of the people who have supported us along the way. ♥️

On September 26th ~ from 12-6pm ~ we will be serving up one of Rachel’s custom Seasonal 🫖 herbal teas, some of the Cordua family’s 2024 🍷, and something 🍥 sweet and delish from one of our favorite, historic South Philly bakeries.

Please come explore our handcrafted Sanctum abounding with unique offerings for self, community, home, and wellbeing. Enjoy some connection, good conversation, and the healing energy of gathering together as we open Una’s doors for the very first time. ✨

There’s something really special, deeply meaningful, and utterly exhausting 😅 about building the bones of your business with your own two hands.

As we bring our brick-and-mortar space to life, we’ve chosen to do it ourselves just as we lovingly have in the past. Lime washing and 🎨 painting walls, 🔨 building tables, sketching out and fine tuning the cash desk (a hub for great conversation), cutting 🪚 and hanging shelves, planning fixtures, designing and electrifying 💡 lights, and pouring a bit of our selves and our passion into every little detail.

It’s definitely not the easiest path, but because we believe the space we create should carry the same intention as the remedies we craft and the healing modalities we offer, we want to be sure it’s done thoughtfully, and with care. 🤎

Every muscle cramp, brushstroke, splinter, bruise, delirious laugh, dance/snack break and every late night is becoming part of the story of this place. A sanctuary built by hand, rooted in purpose, and created with our community in mind.

We can’t wait to welcome you through the door. Sept 26th is coming so 🔜

Daniel lime washing the walls. 🤩 We love the soft + earthy texture and energy this meditative technique offers.

Rachel cutting the wood for the under mount of the cash desk. She’s still finalizing the finish she wants for it 🤎

Putting the cash desk together. Piece by piece. ✨

That moment when you look up from what you’re working on and witness the simple beauty in the wood stacked up against the brick walls that have been there since 1839. 😍

Daniel working on the “staircase to nowhere” 🙌🏽

Another corner of gorgeous treasures waiting for their placement. 🤍

Goodbye 👋🏽 red doors. Time to soften you up a bit.

This finish. 🤎🤎🤎

Had some fun building some whimsical shelves using old wood we had from past lives. When I was done… Daniel said… “yep, pretty witchy… it’s perfect.” 👌🏽

You’re almost done babe. It’s gonna be worth it. 😂

We took turns soaking + scraping the old carpet adhesive… only took us 3 days 😂

Hung the corbels. That’s better. 🤎

Can’t wait to🏮hang + ✨ electrify you.

Painting + finishing the floor light boxes. These are going to be specia taken in Old City Philly by @empoweredconnection.me

Yesterday marked 1 year since we held you in our arms and even though time has passed, our love has stayed exactly where it was. ♥️

It stays nestled in your favorite blanket, in your toys that are still in the same spots, in your collar that hangs waiting for our next walk together because we still take you with us every time we go, in the sacred heart we hung above your eating place, in your sleeping basket 🧺 in the studio, in the dried flowers we brought home from last Aug 25th. It’s everywhere. Always.

It remains woven into the fabric of all of the wonderful memories we shared with your wild, soulful, adventurous little self. In the life we made as a pack and the micro moments that consistently bring you back to us.

Yesterday we spent the entire day remembering not only what we lost but everything we had.

We visited all your favorite places, the place where we found you and brought you home to us, the place where we had to let you go and every special magical memory marker in between. We told stories of you and shared photos of you with family and friends.

Today, we are writing this with tears streaming down our faces, with immense love in our hearts, and smiles bigger than ever out of gratitude for the sweetest, softest, most uncomplicated love we have ever had the privilege of having.

Always with us. Tulsi bear 🐻♥️🐕 by @empoweredconnection.me

Seven years ago, this herbal biz began in Tucson, Arizona🌵😍. It all started because of my deep love for the plants, our belief and appreciation in the healing power of nature, and a dream that the healing space we moved across the country to create, build, and nurture would hopefully make a meaningful difference in the lives of all who shared it with us.

Bhava was only about 6 months old when the pandemic hit 🤯 and we survived it because of you. ♥️

Here we are, seven years later… and that same intention is still the life force and the heart behind everything we do.

There has been both seasons of abundance and seasons of challenge. This business has pushed us and tested us in countless ways, but has ultimately transformed us for the better. 🥰

What started as a little desert 🏜️ inspired dream has become a beautiful community of people whose support and values we are endlessly grateful for.

Thank you for cherishing small batch herbalism, for inviting our handcrafted remedies into your homes and businesses, for believing in us, and for being part of our 🌱 journey.

Cheers to seven years of growth, healing, and community and to the next exciting chapter to come. We couldn’t have done it without you! by @empoweredconnection.me
