This Friday I’m opening up my Studio space from 5-8pm so if you’re local you can come shop in person my vintage and handmade clothes, jewelry, home goods, ceramics and art. I’m feeling a shift within myself to continue to create versus collect and to connect with more of you in real life in new ways. I’m hoping to show you the space and cast a little vision for art workshops and more community focused programming.

Encourage Vintage was born right after my second child was born - I was still photographing weddings and needing a new outlet for my creativity and I wanted to explore more fashion oriented things. Now with three kids (!!) - my energy is more limited than ever and I know that if I want to grow I need a bigger change in this space. As much as fashion will always be essential to my self expression as an artist I’m ready to move into a more deliberate art practice via Encourage Vintage that I feel works perfectly with mainly creating jewelry and moving away from clothing. It’s slower and more meditative for me to make jewelry for you and most importantly I’m following that joy and drive. I’m hopeful that the studio sale will allow me to shed some last layers and a few racks of clothing to free both mental and physical space.

If you aren’t in the Bay Area I will also be having a limited time online studio sale after the event , I’m not sure yet if it will be on my website or story/live sale so stay tuned for the purge. And please let me know what workshops you’d be interested in!
