Did you know the Bible speaks of 7 sacred fruits. These are wheat, barley, figs, dates, pomegranate, olives and grapes. Each one has a beautiful healing message behind it.

Wheat - represents sustenance and humility - wheat is the foundation of bread - Wheat teaches humility: no matter how advanced we become, we still rely on Gd for daily bread.

Barley - represents refinement of animal-self - barley was used to feed animals - barley teaches we are meant to elevate our instinctual, reactive side into conscious, God-directed living.

Figs - a fig tree doesnt flower before bearing fruit, the fruit itself is considered the flower - they teach that beauty is on the inside

Dates - dates can stay fresh for years without refrigeration, they can endure for so long. Date plants also endure hard conditions like high heat and low water. This teaches that enduring hardship reaps sweet fruit

Pomegranate - filled with an abundance of seeds shows that every small act c builds up together to form abundance

Grapes don’t grow alone, the grow in clusters, real growth happens in community not in isolation. When they are crushed they become wine, many times when we become crushed in life, it’s only to become a new version of ourselves

Today October 9 / 17 Tishrei my mom would’ve been 57 years old. But 10 years ago God decided it was her time to go.

There’s a powerful saying that a person dies twice, once when they pass away and the second time when they stop being spoken about and remembered
Never stop celebrating your loved ones. Never stop speaking about them. Keep their memories alive, always.
Today my mom would've been 57, she passed when she was 47. Physically gone, but spiritually present and always remembered. The biggest blessing you can do for your loved ones is to never stop speaking about them.

My biggest message is to understand that This life is so temporary and the ones that we love we do not have forever. So make sure to be present, to appreciate the people that you have in your life. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Let them know how much you love them. And be grateful for every moment you have with the people that you love because you never know when a persons last day on this earth is.

And make peace, don’t hold resentments.

Rest in peace mami, love you forever.

Ayeka—- where are you? The same question God asked Adam and Eve is the same one He asks each of us today. We tend to hide in shame when God just wants to talk. Open up to Him, take responsibility, from there you can move forward. by @emunah.hashem
