Some glimpses into my seven week (tad bit of a fever dream) jaunt around Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines!

Southeast Asia had been on my list since my first solo trip & as life threw it’s curve balls my hopes & dreams for this trip morphed again & again. Until it really happened last winter! And to be honest I thought about & missed my home & the people I know & love deeply more days than not while in all of these incredible places that the pictures don’t even capture fully. Butttt how amazing & wonderful to have a life & people I love so much that I was so excited to get home to! I learned two things can exist at the same time - I can be a baddie, independent girl navigating new countries on her own & a tender, nostalgic gal who just wants to be cozy in the living room with her favorite people. Feeling extra grateful for this life & savoring the sweet moments 🍒🍒! taken in Southeast Asia by @emventuringg

Dear Bellingham,

We navigated through many growing pains together. I threatened to leave you lots of times - like when your dampness made my mattress grow mold & I desperately missed the warm kiss of the sun & my favorite people kept moving away & my college besties were too far away to hug. But I stuck it out & thank god I did! I’ve lived many eras here & the one I’m living now is extra sweet. So here I am sniffing each blooming flower & feeling the spring breeze whirl through my blonde hair that keeps growing. Boy oh boy have you won me over! 🌸💗🌿

It takes some real special people to have this much dang fun post-op week one! Beyond grateful for the visits, field trips, texts/phone calls, mayo loaded sandwiches, anti-inflammatory mocktails, “what can I grab for you?”, cold ice packs, premium Uber rides, flowers, house full of laughter, etc. etc. etc. You all make me smile with every tooth in my mouth :)) 💖💖💖 taken in Bellingham, Washington by @emventuringg
