Feeling summer melancholy, feeling proud of myself and trying to remain confident of how I’m navigating life, figuring out what’s next. Non-linear hoes to the front, shoutout to my non-linear hoes! You all already know that I love an ethereal vibed out photo dump. by @enbydangerous

Today, the 20th anniversary edition of @xposedqueerfilmfest kicks into gear.

From May 21st-24th, there will be a retrospective curated by past and present programmers of the festival at @sinematranstopia.

There will also be two exhibitions opening around Kotti on May 21st, one at AQUARIUM until May 31st, one at @viertewelt until June 14th. Both are FREE.

From May 28th until May 31st, there will be the POP-UP CAMPUS, which has panels, pitches for the Queer Short Film Fund and workshops. All are FREE. Then the PERFORMANCE program at @sinematranstopia including @sjrahatoka, @3awadalla, @itsjaomoon and more.

And then we have this years MAIN PROGRAM, which was curated by @merle_groneweg, @pol_mer, @sarntolstice, @outer.spacexx and me.
It also includes a guest program by @wmwiff.
There are 15 feature films and more than 60 shorts in this slot. There’s a LOT going on as you can see.

It’s amazing to discuss and share all these films together. And also researching these films is one of my favorite things, I get in touch with so many perspectives, expressions, works, other festivals, organizations, but also people, I get a lot of input beyond my horizon. I appreciate to engage with the visions of queer artists from all over the world and especially the black diaspora and it’s always a highlight for me that I cherish about Xposed.

Shoutout to everybody involved for making this happen, it was a lot of work powered by passion, responsibility, burnout and held together by sheer willpower:
@nastaran_tajeri, @relief.pfeiler, Bart, Kate, @_x_kai, @stanleyreagh, @visuellebiotope, @konfusium, @jakeflowers.tv, @klaus_mus, @theo_taquet_, @queenofvirginity, @csaner, Emma, Pierre, Marion, the volunteers and many more…

The full program is online on xposedfilmfestival.com

A brandnew edition of XPOSED, 29th of May - 1st of June. The full program is now online. 13 feature films & 48 short films (across 9 short programs) that were a joy to watch and exchange about and were selected by us in a sea of many other amazing films by queer filmmakers around the globe, to experience, feel and reflect onto. Some deal with technology and reality, some with survival strategies, transformations, archives, kinship, hidden emotions and hard feelings.
@outer.spacexx @pol.mer @sarntolstice @merle_xpo

From juicy to cerebral we once again have all kinds of vibes to offer ;)

This year with less budget then the last ones and with heavy lifting by an amazing organizational team to get everything on its feet and somehow make this edition happen!!!
Come by and support us later this month and have a good time with some of the amazing films we are programming 💗
