This first post is a pic from the day I met my grandmother, Ann Spencer Reynolds. My aunt was taking the picture and told my granny to smile. Without missing a beat, she bluntly responded that she hadn’t smiled since the police killed Adrian (my father). Now mind you, we were just laughing and having a good ol’ time two seconds before taking the pic lol But it was that moment of my grandmother balancing grief, joy, and advocacy that I knew I was hers.

One day, I’ll share more about my journey to laying flowers at my grandmother’s feet and how she adorned me with the invaluable gift of love, legacy, and pride. But for now, as I sit still and work through the thick fog of sadness, I can hardly express how lucky I am to be Ann Spencer’s grandbaby and how thankful I am for the intentional/meaningful time we spent together

Join Ericka Claudio (Founder, My Body PAC) and Enchanta Jackson (Director of Partnerships, RunningMate) for the Adopt-a-Voter webinar!

◼️ August 27, 2026
◼️ 7pm Eastern (4pm Pacific)
◼️ RSVP today at the link in our bio

This year, voters nationwide will decide on constitutional amendments to protect reproductive freedom, and the margins will come down to who shows up. Adopt-a-Voter is how we make sure they do.

This session gets volunteers set up on Running Mate, the platform that turns voter commitment into a trackable plan.

More information at @mybodypac

My Body PAC is a federally registered Super PAC built on one idea: bodily autonomy is the foundation every other right stands on. This November, that fight has an address.

Uncle Richard has been reunited with Granny Ann 🤎🕊️ He was such an amazing and thoughtful man. After discovering that I was his niece, he shared a scrapbook he had created, archiving my father’s story to help me understand what happened to him. A lover of tennis, art, travel, and history — I’ve been in awe of him since learning he was my uncle. How did I get so lucky? 🥹 Please keep his beautiful legacy: sons Ahmad and @richreyn , grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and the rest of the family in your thoughts and hearts during this time🙏🏾 taken in West Louisville, Kentucky by @enchanta
