🌻✨ 46 Years of Life, Love, Loss, Grace, and Becoming ♎️☀️

Today, I celebrate another revolution around the Sun with a heart full of gratitude. Life hasn’t always been easy, but through grief, healing, growth, and love, I’ve continued to build, dream, and become.

At 46, I’m proud to have expanded Sacred Womb Haven, established a foundation, returned to school to pursue midwifery, and continued planting seeds for a legacy beyond me.

But perhaps my greatest accomplishment is becoming a woman I’m proud to be.

This week, my sister, mentor, and friend reminded me that I’ve navigated a difficult journey with grace. A brother I hadn’t spoken to in years shared that witnessing my healing through grief inspired him. And a client lovingly welcomed me into her son’s life as an auntie because of the care we’ve shared through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. 🥹🤎

These moments reminded me that my legacy isn’t only what I’m building, but what I leave in the hearts of those whose lives touch mine.

I’m learning to receive as freely as I give, honor my past without living there, and make room for tenderness, joy, love, and abundance.

I’m proud of who I’ve been, grateful for who I am, and excited for who I’m becoming.

The moment you commit to the person who changes your life forever, everything shifts. Even now, living with him in spirit continues to stretch and grow me. It has taught me to see far beyond the surface.

Being loved so deeply raised my standards. I hold a high boundary for how I am to be treated and what I will tolerate. I can instantly perceive when I am a true priority, making it a challenge to ever entertain mediocrity or the superficial.

A friend called me a unicorn🦄 recently, completely unaware that was the exact word people used for us as we walked through life together. It felt amazing to hear that part of us still recognized. Then, just the other day, I heard a whisper of a single word, “Miyat”😍 It instantly transported me back into the time of divine adoration and worship he enveloped me in.

When a person perceives you like that, catering to them isn't a chore. It’s a genuine pleasure. Being constantly poured into and cherished shifts your entire nervous system, softening you into your true divine feminine.

Today would have been 15 years of marriage. I am forever grateful for the way he developed me into the being I am today. No one has influenced me more.

Peace and Love to All that attended our Full Moon Healing Experience at Elevated Escape in Hillsborough, NC. So many Beautiful BEings graced us with their presence. We did a little yoga w/ Meditation, massage w/ essential oil, spoken words w/ deep conversation,foot soaks w/ essential oil, salts & rose petals, ate together, moon gazing, etc .

It felt like I had quantum leaped into another timeline, fighting desperately to get back. It took half a year just to feel comfortable navigating the world again. I have never had to be so gentle, so incredibly delicate, with myself and the children.

Here we are two years later, and what has been revealed to me is nothing short of incredible.

I used to wonder how our relationship would manifest. I struggled to reprogram my heart. And yet, in the midst of the quiet, you are still teaching me.

You are showing me how grand and free your spirit is.

You are showing me how much you truly loved me…and how far you would go for me.

Our love didn't end..it expanded within me. I am still your reflection.

Thank you for the work you are doing in the heavens. It shall be reflected here on Earth.

They say doula work ends after the immediate postpartum period, but for me, the doors never close. 🚪✨
I never delete a contact, and I never change the special ringtone I set for my clients. Because once you invite me into your birth space, you are family for life.
This year, over 20 of my sweet doula babies are turning one. While their newborn days are behind them, my bond with their families has only grown. I’ve been blessed to step in and babysit, continue connecting mothers with vital resources, and in one beautiful, unexpected instance—I now co-parent a client’s dog! She has become my own emotional support animal, helping me and my family navigate and adapt to life again. 🐕❤️
Supporting families during their most vulnerable, sacred moments is a massive honor. But what many people don’t know is that birth is a two-way street: witnessing new life and holding space for these families is exactly what helps me heal from my own grief.
To all my doula babies and the fierce parents who birthed them—I am always just a phone call away. 📞🙏🏾

NC is currently a deeply hostile state for reproductive freedom, but seeing it on paper vs. hearing it at the Abortion Access Now event hits differently. 💔
Right now, politicians are trying to push extreme measures like Bill 1232, which would classify abortion as 1st-degree murder. This isn’t just an attack on healthcare; it’s a direct threat to the safety and autonomy of women and anyone who supports them.
People always ask: What can we do?
First, we get people out of office who don’t understand the basic complexities of reproduction. Second, we organize, we train, and we prepare to fight back.
I go to these events with one goal: active advocacy. We need to protect women in hospitals, in policy, and in society. Period. WE NEED TO BE PROTECTED IN ALL THE SPACES. ✊🏾✨

The Divine Had Other Plans ✨🙏🏾
When a prophecy came over my life telling me that I would be a "mother to many," I remember laughing a little and thinking, "Listen, 5 of my own plus 3 beautiful bonus kids is already a full house and more than enough!" 😅
But the universe, the divine, and my ancestors had an entirely different blueprint for my destiny.
Every single day, I wake up with one guiding question on my heart: How can I leave this world better than it was given to me? 🌍✨
Slowly, beautifully, and powerfully, my true path unfolded. I realized my destiny was to awaken to a higher calling…to act as a gatekeeper, ushering sacred spirits Earthside from the spirit world. It is the honor of my lifetime to protect, shield, and support mothers as they walk through the most sacred, transformative journey of their lives. And the blessing doesn't stop at birth; I am deeply privileged to love and care for these divine beings as they grow.
I never would have imagined what "mother to many" truly meant. But looking back over just the last 3 years, I am overwhelmed with humility and awe to say that I have been blessed to touch close to 50 lives. 😭❤️
Thank you, Egungun, for your unwavering guidance, your clear direction, and your fierce protection. I surrender my own plans to the greater design. I want what you want. 🕊️🌾
