ONE YEAR: AUGUST!!! πŸ’–πŸ₯³βœ¨πŸ“–πŸͺ©πŸŽ‚πŸŽ€πŸ₯° One year of Enchanted Pages!!!! πŸ₯Ή we obviously had to throw a banger for our anniversary meeting, and it turned out bigger and better than we could’ve imagined!!! πŸ₯° we had sparkles and glitter, yummy matcha, an abundance of snacks, dance music, a stunning cake, FABULOUS party outfits, and the VIBES?!Incredible 🀩🀩🀩 A special happy birthday to our August babies, Lila & Sabrina (who sadly couldn’t make it) πŸ’ Sharing a birthday month with E.P is really a huge flex because you get a party with us every year!!! πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈπŸ₯³πŸ₯° Huge thank you to everyone who helped set up this event and make it possible!! Our sweet Natalie for hosting in this incredible space, @matchadelicmatcha for our delicious matcha, and @lacremepastry for our gorgeous cake!! 🀩 and shoutout to my setup and cleaning crew, you the GOAT’S πŸ₯Ήβœ¨πŸ’Œ What started as a simple idea to find local book lovers turned into something so much bigger; a sense of community, a beautiful sisterhood, and friendships that have changed every single one of us. Every meeting this past year has become such a wonderful memory full of laughs and tears and hugs and everything in between πŸ’ all of these ladies contribute SO MUCH to our group every month and we truly would not be here without them!! Thank you all for believing in me a year ago, during a time when I felt incredibly lost and had no idea that something so beautiful could grow from the ashes 😭 I love you forever and ever and I could never fully express my gratitude for your friendships so pls accept my tears of joy!!!!! 😭😭😭😭πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯ΉπŸ₯ΉπŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’– Year 1 of ♾️ down!!! Chapter twelve: July! ✨πŸͺ½πŸ’œ Our July BOTM was The Winged Game by @sophiekimwrites , and what a DELIGHT it was to read & discuss!! We were so excited to step back into fantasy this month, and this standalone was the perfect fit for us! The humor, the slow burn romance, the TRUE enemies to lovers?! We were SAT πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ We were spoiled by our host Amanda, whose family made us the best falafel!! This was the best recipe for our July meeting tbh Homemade falafel βœ”οΈ Snacks βœ”οΈ Yapping βœ”οΈ A chaotic game of monikers βœ”οΈ Wouldn’t want to spend it any other way!! πŸ₯° Our July member of the month is πŸ₯β€¦.Israa!!! One of our newer members who joined with an absolute BANG!! She hasn’t missed a meeting and brings the most contagious energy to our group, we love her big time πŸ₯ΉπŸ’œ Happy birthday to our July baby Zeina & June baby Laura!! And also to Nadia & Laurain, who couldn’t join us, and to Malak who recently came back πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯³ Love y’all SO much, thank you for always making these meetings such a fun event!! πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ Xoxo, Mees βœ¨πŸ’πŸ“– by @enchantedpagesbc

Our July BOTM: The Winged Game by @sophiekimwrites πŸ’œπŸ¦β€πŸ”₯βœ¨πŸ“– We took to the skies in July with this epic fantasy sports romance! A disgraced athlete fake-dating her nemesis and rival?! πŸ‘€ we couldn’t have picked this one up quick enough! High-stakes games, winged creatures, and a slow burn worth rooting for!! The best combination for a book club read πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ β€’ β€’ #bookclubpick #thewingedgame #fantasybook #bookclubbook #sophiekim by @enchantedpagesbc

Chapter eleven: June! β˜€οΈπŸ‘™πŸŒŠβœ¨πŸ’ Our June BOTM was Our Secret Summer by @authorrsgrey , and it was the perfect read for our farmer’s market meeting!! This book brought the ultimate summer vibe, and had us all wishing we were strolling the beach in Ibiza πŸ–οΈ it was a quick read with the sweetest friendships & unexpected romance πŸ₯° We truly peaked this month with our farmers market/Sunday swap!! I know we say this every month- but this was our best meeting to date πŸ₯³ everyone really brought their creativity out & we had the most incredible spread of items to β€œshop” πŸ’ from handmade postcards and bags, to pasta salad, homemade jam, brown sugar syrup, tiramisu, mango chia seed pudding, hand-painted bookmarks (!!!), the list goes on and on!! Vibes were 10/10 immaculate and this will definitely be an annual event! πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈπŸ’• Our June member of the month……πŸ₯πŸ₯ our lovely Suki!!! One of our creative minds & the genius behind this theme! πŸ₯Ή she also hosted us & provided the refreshments via her cart @littlelevant πŸ‹ we love you! A very special happy birthday to our one & only June baby- Laura!! πŸ₯³πŸŽ‚ Another incredible day for the books!!! πŸ₯° love you all so very much πŸ₯Ή As always, thank you for bringing the best energy to our meetings and for doing THE MOST, in the best way!! Your efforts never ever go unnoticed & I’m extremely thankful for you all πŸ’πŸ’πŸ’ Xoxo, Mees βœ¨πŸ’•πŸ“– by @enchantedpagesbc
