Fall is upon us and some fun updates are inbound: the big new release is the RealTree Mechanic’s Vest. Featuring a double zip (great for riding), jersey style back pockets, a breast pocket and a little holder for full sized Allen keys 👀 these are all made to order and only available by DM (at the time of writing this).

Otherwise, Enchanted Sack basket bags are now being made exclusively in Ecopak (and RealTree). These will be updated on the website promptly.

Enchanted Sewing Class: Mystic(al) Musette

A beginner friendly sewing class at the Enchanted HQ in Neukölln, Berlin where you will learn how to sew your very own mystical Musette. It’s a neat little bag that is super light, adjustable, has a stabilizer strap, and is made by you!

All materials provided, takes about 2 hours. 50€ per person. Next dates in Bio, DM to book.

On our latest hiking journey with @klattermusen Berlin, we decided we wanted to do something special.

The hike started off with a climb up one of the few hills surrounding Berlin to catch a little elevation and fresh air before winding our way down through the forest.
We foraged for wild berries and plums and ended up lost before being enchanted through an auditory experience by the elusive @enchantedsacks

We stumbled across some horses and mules and some of us even got to hand feed them apples before our hike eventually ended and we parted ways.

One afternoon @stefanozotti called me to ask if I could make 250 musettes for @hunt.road for @bespoked.cc to which I said something like “uhhhh yeaaahhh (???)” and thankfully it worked out in the end as you can see.

It was made a lot easier by the new studio, some extra help (😘), and the Dune audiobook.

July has been an enchanted month indeed! Moved into a studio, tossed some new bars onto the Rune and got a nice little gig going with @klattermusen and @flatearth.adventureclub on the 2nd of August (if you’re reading this, and it is before then and you live in or around Berlin please join)

This is the Pantector, a Pant Protector designed and made by yours truly. If you exclusively wear skinny jeans or shorts or skirts or no pants at all while riding your bike then you probably don’t need one of these. For the rest of us, this is a solution I camp up with that solves the whole pant leg getting caught in chain dilemma in a non-fussy manner.

It’s made of off cuts of the stuff I make bags from-in this case, Xpac X11. A simple elastic shock cord system keeps even the most voluminous of pants securely fastened to your leg. The shock cord is a bit reflective, and there is a nice hi vis reflective strip on the thing itself. It’s a useful little doodad for people who like cycling in roomier pants, I know I do.

This is a product I designed well before Enchanted Sacks was a thing, and the final slide in the carousel is the very first one I made way back when. I didn’t know how to sew at all but it still works and conforms nicely to my pant leg! I considered using cheaper materials to make it but I really dig how X11 ages so you get the good stuff!
