When youth have a platform to make their own money, the whole city wins. Activation IS prevention. 🗣️

Pitch a tent, sell a craft, or pull up to support!

This is what happens when community, respect, and creative flow align in real time ✨

When we build safe, supportive, and family-centered spaces, our artists win, our youth step into their brilliance, and the whole culture elevates. But to keep giving to our community and art, we have to pour into ourselves first.

Pull Up This Week:

Join us at Marquette Park for the next @encorestl & @encore4youth Block Party!
📅 Friday, August 21st
⏰ 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Marquette Park

Take It Further:

Listen: Stream the full DJ set on SoundCloud (link in bio).
Watch: Experience the complete 360° video recap on YouTube.

Come hungry. Come curious. And maybe leave a little extra room in the shopping budget. 👀🇵🇷

El Barrio wouldn't be El Barrio without the incredible businesses, artisans, and community organizations showing up to share what they do with our familia.

This Saturday, make sure you take some time to explore ALL of El Barrio:

🍴 Come hungry and show some love to our food vendors serving up Puerto Rican favorites and flavors from across our Latino community.

🛍️ Shop local artisans and makers bringing their crafts, creations, and one-of-a-kind finds.

🤝 Get connected with community partners and organizations sharing resources, opportunities, and information for you and your familia.

These vendors and partners are helping us create the kind of barrio we've been talking about all along: one where we support each other, discover something new, and build community together.

So when you get here, don't just find the stage and stay there. Walk the block. Meet somebody. Try something new. ❤️

📅 Saturday, August 8
⏰ 1–7 PM
📍 Marquette Park

And here's your challenge: How many of these vendors can you visit before the day is over? 👀

Somos tu familia extendida. Nos vemos en El Barrio. 🇵🇷❤️ taken in Marquette Park by @encorestl

Mira...what are your plans on August 8? 👀

We're bringing the music, the food, the dancing, the culture, and the community to Marquette Park.

You just need to bring your corillo to El Barrio Block Party. 🇵🇷❤️

🎶 Live music

💃 Dance performances & lessons

🍴 Puerto Rican & Latino food

🎨 Local artisans

👨‍👩‍👧 Kids activities

❤️ Community that feels like home

Come curious. Leave full. Leave smiling. Leave with a few new friends.

📅 Saturday, August 8
⏰ 1–7 PM
📍 Marquette Park

Trae a tu gente. Nosotros ponemos el barrio.

👇 Tag the people you're bringing. taken in Marquette Park by @encorestl

DJing for the Youth really is everything! Being able to pivot, introduce, get & mix their music. Choose instrumentals so they could freestyle - was so special! Shout out to @encorestl & @encore4youth for this dope summer activation!

With local businesses, food, vendors, other organizations & the artists themselves. This was truly a family affair. With the playground, soccer fields & street closed down this was truly a Southside moment.

Join us for the next one Friday, August 21st. Same time 3-7 PM. Same place Marquette Park.

Follow @encorestl & @encore4youth for more!

Book me @align.with.anna to MC, DJ & bring the vibes for your next private, corporate or community event!

Not only does Jakayla inspire the next generation by teaching theater classes with Encore STL, but she is also out here running her own business: Bougie Nachos! 🧀🔥

She brought the heat for our Juneteenth activation, and she is officially pulling up to Marquette Plaza again TOMORROW for our Health & Wellness takeover.

This is what Encore for Youth is all about—creating a platform where our young people can showcase their art, build their brands, and lead the community.

Stop by the plaza tomorrow (July 17th) to catch the vibes and see what Bougie Nachos has in store! You don't want to miss it. 🌳✨

@jaybsaffold is pulling up to Marquette Plaza serving vocals and the best drinks in the city with @justjuicedbt !

This is exactly what @encore4youth is all about—channeling that creative hustle into something that elevates the whole block.

When our youth see local artists building their own brands and securing the bag, it changes the entire narrative.

Grab a drink from the Just Juice(d) stand, catch his live set, and support STL talent! 🔥 by @encorestl

STL, we are beyond hyped to announce that @align.with.anna is pulling up to set the tone for our July 17th & August 21st takeover at Marquette Park!

She is exactly the energy we need and she doesn't just curate the best global rhythms to keep the crowd moving—she’s also out here putting the next generation on through her Youth DJ Academy. When our youth see real talent investing back into the city, everybody wins. 🤌

Come catch her set, play some games, and connect with the culture. See you on at 3rd Fridays from 3-7pm.

Special shout out to:
