Tenacity and hard work. Failure is simply a stepping stone.

So, this was fun for me. Back when I was a kid I was in a band. Some of you may know this but it was called Romak & the Space Pirates.

I wrote (music not lyrics) a lot of the music and was the drummer and synth programmer.

Anyway, once or twice a year I reminisce and listen to a few songs on Spotify.

While I don't think the recordings ever correctly captured our true live sound it was fun to hear songs I worked on.

For years when I did this all of our songs were @ <1000 streams. Imagine my surprise to see that we have a song with over 50k streams and 1,300 monthly listeners!

Really fun to see people are enjoying this music I made over 20 years ago.

Touring and asking fans if we can sleep on their floor at the end of the show is some of the best memories of my life.

Just for the memories since I failed to record almost anything this show. I went there for DEVO and it was incredible but I have just a bit of the B-52s which was also fun. Got to hear Rock Lobster live! I also got to hear Smart Patrol! #livemusic #concertreel #devo #b52s taken in Germania Insurance Amphitheater by @end.dr3am

Excellent Show, back in form! I finally got to hear ‘Angel with the Scabbed Wings’ live! One of the best rocks songs of all time imo.

One of the best shows I’ve seen in years and honestly probably the last band in years I’ve truly gotten into. Do yourself a favor and go to their next tour! 🖤 #healthband #ratgirlsummer #industrialmusic #livemusic #livemusicaustin @_health_ @_johnny_health_ taken in Austin, Texas by @end.dr3am
