For decades, the Rohingya ethnic group have faced systematic violence and genocide. They have been stripped of their legal status as citizens and forced to flee their homes. DO NOT LOOK AWAY FROM THESE ATROCITIES.

Here’s a timeline detailing the cycles of violence facing the Rohingya 👉

“PEOPLE WILL DIE” — said UN secretary general António Guterres when speaking about Trump’s aid cuts.

Since Trump has taken office, he has enacted fascist policies and exacerbated genocides across the globe. Here is a quick rundown of how he affects the Rohingya ➡️

It’s important to note that regardless of whether his policies target the Rohingya directly, all of his attempts to intimidate POC, immigrants, and other marginalised groups still affect the Rohingya. Now more than ever, the world must not look away. We demand Rohingya liberation and dignity.

🚨 TRAGEDY IN ROHINGYA REFUGEE CAMP-26, MUSONI 🚨

A DEVASTATING FIRE has destroyed 50 shelters in Mosuni, Bangladesh—the world’s largest refugee camp, where over 1 MILLION Rohingya who fled GENOCIDE in Burma are seeking refuge. 🏚️💔

A CHILD HAS LOST THEIR LIFE in the blaze, and now hundreds of families are left homeless again. This isn’t just a fire—it’s part of a CRUEL CYCLE OF VIOLENCE that the Rohingya continue to endure, even after fleeing mass atrocities in Burma.

Without a home, women and children are at an even GREATER RISK of gender-based violence, exploitation, and abuse. Many women, desperate to feed their children, may feel forced to turn to dangerous work, including SEX WORK. Others may attempt the LIFE-THREATENING boat journeys to Malaysia or Indonesia, only to face more danger at sea. 🌊💔

To those who blame the Rohingya or spread hate—ask yourself this: What would YOU do if you lost everything? Your home, your family, your safety? What choice would YOU have if the world abandoned you?

The Rohingya have already survived genocide, yet they are still stripped of safety, dignity, and basic human rights. How much more can they endure before the world takes action?

IT’S TIME TO END THIS CYCLE OF SUFFERING.

Speak up, demand accountability, and show compassion. The Rohingya deserve more than just survival—they deserve justice and a future. ✊🏽🤎

There’s nothing complicated about genocide and displacement. The Rohingya ethnic minority deserve to live in their ancestral lands.

End the genocide now.

The Rohingya deserve agency of movement. They deserve to determine for themselves where they want to live and raise their families. Bangladesh has relocated thousands of refugees to Bhasan Char, a cyclone-scarred island.

Learn why refugees are trying to leave it ➡️

OF THE $5.4 MILLION REQUESTED BY THE UNHRC TO SUPPORT ROHINGYA SEA CROSSINGS, NO FUNDS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED‼️

As the situation grows increasingly dire in Myanmar/Burma and Bangladesh, more Rohingya are attempting dangerous sea journeys to seek refuge in nearby countries. However, because these crossings are so dangerous and resources are low, many Rohingya’s boats capsize and go missing.

Here is an update on what’s been happening.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

August 25th marks the 7 year anniversary of the genocidal attacks against the Rohingya. Over hundreds of thousands have been displaced from their ancestral homeland, and yet the international community has done nothing.

We demand an end to this genocide.
