I originally posted this as a story and someone said I looked self absorbed. I instantly deleted the story because it was the one thing I was afraid of. I would post as a story because I know those go away. I thought it over. Whatever we do publicly will be met with both positive and negative reactions regardless of what it is. I’d be naive to hope to only hear and see the good things. So I’m reposting as a post. Maybe it’s self absorbed but I was feeling okay with myself and I wanted to share it. Let’s say it’s an attempt to overcoming my habit of overthinking. by @enderpants

So my friend's dad's friend who is a teacher of tourism arranged for us to be guided through Hoi An by some of his students. It ended up being more like a food tour. They sweated like crazy but the vibes were immaculate. Only got lost once. Just a few snaps from the day. Dunno how private they are so I'm only posting this. No idea who the girl on the bike is but I thought it looked cool. by @enderpants

I feel like I got adopted by my friends family on this Bana Hills trip. It’s a very different vibe from when I went alone last time. We stayed overnight which I thought was an interesting experience to see the attraction after hours. Also my family called me out for not posting any videos with my meta glasses so I made it a point to use it this trip. Thank you old and new fam. Love you all. by @enderpants

One of the biggest missions on this return to Vietnam was to visit my grandmother's old house and her grave. Pay respect to the ancestors. I made sure I pinned the locations so it'll be easier for my siblings to find in the future. I got to meet up with my French relatives and man did I hear soooo much French. I'm ashamed of my measly 2 years of French in high school. They were so welcoming of me and I love the kids. Rambunctious, as they should be at their age. Anyways, it's pretty meaningful to know where you came from. Humbling for sure. by @enderpants
