Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve found this space.
Like so many of you, my journey started with years of pain, invisible symptoms, and more questions than answers. From endometriosis to POTS, hypermobility, vascular issues, pelvic congestion, and more, I’ve lived the “mystery patient” experience and know how overwhelming it can be.
Today, I guide women through the very puzzle I once faced, combining evidence based protocols, lived insight, and real empathy (because healing requires much more than just managing symptoms).

Not sure where to start? My free masterclass, Endo Victory Guide, and Endo-Friendly Food Guide are available to help you take your next step (link in bio).
Or, if you’re looking for clinical support and a real plan, explore my programs and see what fits your journey best.

Feeling dizzy on standing is a symptom and not a diagnosis. POTS is one possibility, but OI, OH, IST, and vasovagal syncope can look similar on the surface and require different evaluation and management.

What are your symptoms and do you have a diagnosis?

Dysautonomia Awareness Month felt like the right time to share this.

My POTS story has not been linear. Pregnancy amplified everything, postpartum brought a surprising window of relief, and then I spiralled hard into severe dysautonomia that left me bed bound and wheelchair bound for a season.

After extensive workups I was diagnosed with small fibre neuropathy and CIDP, and treatment with IVIG became a turning point that slowly gave me my life back.

I am sharing this because so many of you are also living with complex, overlapping physiology and wondering why your body is “inconsistent.”

The journey is hard, and new layers can as the body changes. I go deeper into my personal story in my book Seen and Heard, link in bio.

October is Dysautonomia Awareness Month!

POTS is a measurable orthostatic haemodynamic pattern, but the label alone does not tell you what is driving it. Clinically, I see two dominant pathways. Autonomic dysfunction can gradually shape the haemodynamic picture over time, or a haemodynamic problem can come first and force escalating autonomic compensation. Many patients have both, which is why two people can meet the same criteria and still need completely different strategies.

This is why we should focus less on the heart rate number and more on the physiology forcing the body to work so hard to stay upright. Low effective circulating volume, venous pooling, impaired vasoconstriction, pain and inflammation signalling, sleep disruption, metabolic dysregulation, and neurovascular factors can all keep the loop switched on.

Comment READY if you are ready to go deeper.

These are a few of my real “controversial” takes after years of working with complex chronic illness, and living it myself. When you are dealing with POTS, MCAS, EDS, long COVID, ME/CFS, and endometriosis, the usual wellness advice often collapses under the weight of your reality. What tends to help most is a plan that is tolerable, paced, and built around your current capacity.

Comment READY if you are ready to approach your health in a way that is both strategic and realistic.

Educational content only. This is not medical advice. I am not a medical doctor. Please speak with your prescribing clinician or healthcare team before starting, stopping, or changing any medication, supplement, or treatment plan.

GLP-1 medications are showing up more in endometriosis conversations for a reason.

Their effects go well beyond appetite and weight. We are learning more about cardiometabolic risk reduction, immune signalling, and downstream inflammatory pathways, and that is relevant when you are dealing with a condition that so often overlaps with systemic inflammation, dysautonomia, hypermobility, and mast cell activation.

Clinically, I see them as a tool that can reduce symptom drivers for the right person, especially when insulin resistance, PMOS overlap, or higher adiposity are amplifying inflammatory signalling.

Some MCAS patients also report improved food tolerance which fits with emerging research showing GLP-1 receptor engagement on many cell types, including mast cells.

However, the most common way I see people get into trouble is gut motility. These medications slow gastric emptying and intestinal transit.

If you already have constipation, reflux, nausea, or gastroparesis, especially with EDS or dysautonomia in the mix, you need a proactive motility plan from day one to avoid fecal loading and the cascade that can follow.

Dosing strategy also changes outcomes. In sensitive bodies, slower titration is often better tolerated.

“Minimally invasive” is frequently misunderstood in endometriosis care.
It describes the laparoscopic approach to surgery. It does not describe the complexity of the surgery, the structures involved, or the physiologic load of recovery.
Endometriosis excision is meticulous surgery performed close to the bowel, bladder, ureters, nerves, and blood vessels. That is why some patients experience significant fatigue, bowel and bladder changes, pelvic floor flares, and pain sensitivity after surgery, even when the small incisions appear to be healing well.
Healing time varies and people are complex. They heal differently, respond to medications differently, and the surgical work can range from relatively straightforward to extensive.

If you are recovering, please protect your healing and take the time you need. And if you are supporting someone after surgery, the most helpful thing you can do is remove expectations and make space for a recovery that unfolds at its own pace.

If you have chronic illness, you probably get this.

You can look fine, and be doing “all the right things,” and your body still has a long list of limitations.

I’m a naturopath and clinical nutritionist, and I’m also a mom of three. I live this too, not just see this in a clinical setting professionally.

For me, the main pieces are hEDS, dysautonomia, endometriosis, MALS, SMAS, Eagle syndrome, TOS, histamine intolerance, high and low head pressure, and chronic neck pain. That mix creates a life where the margin for error is tiny.

The best way I can describe it is that it feels like I have a hundred different thermostats inside me, and I only function when they’re all sitting in the optimal range. Too hot, too cold, too upright, too still, the wrong food, the wrong timing, the wrong posture, and my whole system reacts.

I won’t sugar coat it. Life like this is hard. It can genuinely feel like you were plopped on earth and it wasn’t made for you.

If you relate to the complexity of this, let me know below.

You’re navigating a body that needs more precision and more support than most people will ever understand.

If you’ve been told you “just have POTS” and the plan is just salt, compression, exercise, and meds, this is for you

Those tools can be genuinely life changing. I use them. I recommend them. And for many people they are exactly what’s needed.

But I want you to know that “blood pooling” is a description, not an explanation. In complex cases, the next step is asking why the body can’t regulate blood flow and volume, why preload is low, why brain blood flow can feel so unstable even when you’re doing the right things.

That’s where I start thinking about the whole picture, including gut and pelvic circulation, connective tissue, and whether there are mechanical or structural bottlenecks affecting return flow.
