We all have that one class. Brilliant students who push every boundary and ask more questions than our coffee can handle.

Here’s my advice: let them lead.

Prepare your notes, but leave room for their inquiry. That’s where the learning lives. Curiosity is investment; when students drive the questions, they own the answers.

Think of it this way. If I walk in with a full basket, there’s nothing left for them to fill. But if I start with an empty basket, we build it together.

We really don’t be planning during “planning time “we keep asking for. We just do the whole compliance objective on the board task and say we did it. But what if we targeted the thinking to allow our students to really get the most out of the lesson.
