The BDS movement just launched a new campaign against Fanuc Corporation, and their American headquarters are right in our backyard Michiganders.

We joined the BDS call and are going after genocide enabling robots.

Are you in?

FANUC is a Japanese-owned company which manufacturers robots used by Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer, Elbit Systems. FANUC robots are crucial in the manufacturing of 155mm shells, the ammunition most commonly used by Israel in its genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza.

They are making these robots right here in Michigan. Fanuc’s American Headquarters is in Rochester Hills, Michigan. They have additional manufacturing and shipping facilities in Pontiac, Shelby Township and Auburn Hills.

It’s time to end our complicity and the war machine.

It’s time for Israeli companies to LEAVE Michigan. The state’s eagerness to support and prop up Israeli companies undermines the American working class.

By privileging foreign tech firms over local businesses, this agreement reinforces a dangerous trend: outsourcing innovation and infrastructure solutions to global actors while neglecting homegrown talent. Instead of investing in Michigan’s engineers, software developers, and manufacturers—many of whom are struggling to find long-term, stable employment—the state is offering up contracts and collaboration opportunities to companies with no long-term stake in Michigan communities.

Worse, these foreign partnerships often prioritize automation, surveillance, and military-grade technologies that further displace workers, de-unionize industries, and funnel profits out of the local economy. The result is a hollowed-out labor base, fewer high-quality jobs, and growing dependence on external, unaccountable forces to manage vital services.

Michigan workers want no business with companies complicit in genocide, not in the Middle East and not in our state. by @engineersagainstapartheid

In solidarity with the calls to action from Team Congo and Friends of the Congo, we’re bringing Congo’s struggle to the streets of Detroit. We struggle for liberation, self determination, dignity and equity. We see the connections between extraction in Congo and the systems we confront here.

Say NO to blood tech.
Say NO to capitalism, imperialism & colonialism.

We organize to withdraw our labor, purchasing power and consent from systems that depend on exploitation and demand an end to the systems and profits sustained by these atrocities. This rally is a starting point, we are aware it isn't the finish line. We’re building the relationships, survival programs, mutual aid networks, political education and community infrastructure needed to build our collective power.

Join us to heighten the contradictions. Build our own power. And build toward our liberation.

Michigan! Join us on Saturday for the March for Palestine to mark 3 years of resistance.

October 7th, 2023 marked the beginning of one of the worst atrocities in human history.
The illegal occupiers of Palestine that call themselves
“Israel” have been ceaselessly bombing and torturing over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza while committing countless acts of murder and violence in the West Bank.
Now, 3 years into the ongoing genocide and 78 years into the brutal occupation under Western powers, we take to the streets as a unified front to show the U.S. and Palestine that we will never abandon the Palestinian people. Let this event mark the continuation of our direct actions to liberate Palestine and all those who suffer under the “Israeli” terrorist organization.
We hope to see you there.

Our fourth global event is here: Say No to Blood Tech! On October 23, we are calling on communities worldwide to picket their local Apple Stores in response to the company’s infatuation with Israel. While Apple fans obsess over the duo, it’s our job to educate them about how bloody that phone really is.

And because Apple is also guilty of complicity in the Congolese genocide, we are partnering with @congofriends & @teamcongo.rdc to bring awareness of the issues within the company’s supply chain.

We’re making it super easy for you to show up next month:

Go to our website, pick your flyers & posters, print them, and show up on October to picket! Use the hashtags #saynotobloodtech and #applepicking, and tag us the day you show up.

Are you a local organizer or org that wants to get involved? Contact us through our website.

This is going to be the world’s largest global protest event against big tech — show up and be a part of history! #apple #iphone duo

HONK IF YOU HATE ROBOTS THAT KILL KIDS!

On Thursday, September 24, Engineers Against Apartheid and supporting local organizations including MICAG, PYM and USPCN kicked off the global week of action at FANUC America’s Auburn Hills location.

This 650,000 square foot facility is used to make the highly recognizable yellow robots that FANUC is known for. These are the same robots seen producing 155mm artillery shells on Elbit’s production lines. FANUC continues to claim that they have no idea how their robots ended up producing weapons and that an internal investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing. But we assert that the burden is not on the public to accept FANUC’s opaque denial. The burden is on FANUC to provide clear, verifiable answers to prevent its technology from enabling further mass death. Be sure to follow along with this week as the global week of action against FANUC continues internationally #StopFanucNow. by @engineersagainstapartheid

Join FRSO Detroit, alongside many community organizations, in protesting three years of genocide and commemorating three years of resistance!

In the time since October 7th, 2023, “israel” has committed a barbaric genocide against Palestine, all with billions of dollars in U.S. support. The entire region has been subject to generations of Israeli terror, but in the face of the genocide on Gaza, we have seen countless people from inside the belly of the beast rise up and fight back, alongside continued resistance in Palestine and across the region. Most recently, israel and the U.S. have waged war against Iran and Lebanon, trying to undermine the continued resistance to israeli domination. As we near three years since October 7th 2023, we hope to see you protest with us and continue to fight for a liberated Palestine, an end to U.S. aid to israel, and an end to the criminal wars on Iran and Lebanon.
