I met founder Katie White of @enoughtoendrape and have been so impressed by her work to support victims. The dna testing kits they provide help those who aren’t immediately ready to come forward to report, by giving them a way to collect DNA from attacks that can later be used in court. Do check them out!

The silence around male vulnerability runs so deep that most survivors never find the words to acknowledge what happened.

Vig has found those words. This is for ever male survivor who has never been given the language, space, or permission to say what happened.

The lived reality of a significant number of survivors creates invisible barriers to reporting and accessing support.

Fear of being judged for the context in which assault happened can stop many survivors from coming forward, but they shouldn’t have to explain their relationship structures, their choices, or their communities to access justice.

R@pe is r@pe - regardless of the context it happened in.

Enough is a self-testing DNA kit that lets survivors collect and preserve evidence at home, discreetly, without committing to anything, and without telling a single person.

Half the sample is frozen for if and when a survivor is ready to report and half is tested for DNA profiles.

Options for a survivor who would otherwise take no action.

All of it is a normal response to something that was never supposed to happen to you.

Recovery isn’t a single emotion or a straight line - it’s every feeling you have, in whatever order they arrive, for however long they stay.

You don’t have to perform grief, or have to justify joy - you don’t have to be anywhere other than exactly where you are.
