For those of you embracing the turn of the seasons, we have some warming, homely specials on right now! And for those still clinging on to the summer, we have just updated our in house ice-cream 😋 …don’t we treat you all right! 🤗

Our chef extraordinaire Calvin is currently running a delicious squash and pimento spiced soup served with spelt flour dumplings!!!

Our new seasonal tea is a wholesome cinnamon and hibiscus! And pairs nicely in a takeaway cup, with your new wool jacket and scarf 🧥

And for those of you that are wearing shorts all year round (no hate) - our new in house icecream is one of chocolate-orange and salted fudge 🤪

See you soon 😘 by @enrootldn

We’ve started another little Literacy Aid UK library shelf, this time at En Root in Peckham.

You can find it at 28 Peckham Rye, London SE15 4JR.

The books are there for people to pick up, read, enjoy and pass on. We’ll be topping the shelf up every month with new titles, so there should always be something different to find.

You might also spot our new Literacy Aid UK stamp inside the books, so people know where they’ve come from and can hopefully keep passing them on.

A big thank you to Big Yellow Self Storage for helping us with storage. Without that support, projects like this would be much harder to keep going.

And thank you to En Root for giving the books a home and helping us get more books into people’s hands. The food there is delicious too, so definitely worth stopping by for that as well.

To celebrate 10 years of En Root we’ve made a little day in the life of En Root. Featuring @nishanti_enroot , @harshmodasia & a few familiar faces. A trip down memory lane & a look back at some of our iconic South London residencies.

What a journey it’s been. From our first days in Herne Hill to where we are today, it’s been a decade of food, festivals, late nights, big ideas, beautiful people & plenty of goodness along the way.

Big love for all those who have been with us on the journey! ❤️ taken in En Root by @enrootldn

We spent 2 months in India and when we came back to London we wanted to find some fully plant based versions of the food we loved! ✨

@enrootldn is the real deallll. The food is delicious and recreated the food we tried in India with a twist.

The oyster mushroom wings and the chaat were to die forrrr.

Also the sharing thali is a great portion size and the best way to try a variety of their dishes and you have to try their chai with brownie to finish! ☕️

Oh and to top it all off they have an in house made hot sauce or pepper sauce (Raja Bonnet) which is so yummy! So make sure and bring one of those home with you 😉

With love,
Shan & Zed
