BLINDED BY YOUR GRACE is rooted in vulnerability and desire — the gravitational pull towards something uncontrollable, the willingness to be exposed to forces larger than oneself for the sake of beauty and the sublime. Made in conversation with women storm chasers across the world, BLINDED BY YOUR GRACE asks who is permitted to pursue that pull, and who is obliged to stay safe, through the allegory of the storm.

Through grainy, oblique, images printed on raw, untrimmed newsprint, BLINDED BY YOUR GRACE approaches storms not as spectacle but as a state of heightened attention, where beauty and threat, attraction and fear are held in tension.

This week our sister bookshop @ensemble_books turns 5! We opened Ensemble in 2021 in our adopted city of Marseille as a space to gather around books and share what we do, a unique space in the centre of town that houses a bookshop, our atelier and a fulfilment warehouse.

Over those years Ensemble has welcomed so many special events, artists, collaborators, staff, and most importantly books. Thank you so much to everyone that has made it possible.

THE GROUND ESCAPES THROUGH THE MASS: @gboothcole’s oversized, photocopied zine extends an ongoing publishing practice that uses texture and reproduction to register erasure. What begins as an intimate record of an improvised settlement of makeshift homes along the banks of the Seine shifts toward rupture, as gentrification and the approaching Olympics reduce these temporary shelters to dust.
