Behind every AI film is a human. 🎬

At AI Film 3 in Phoenix, @aifilm3 I sat in Auditorium 1 and watched about 74 films. Every one of them had a writer, a director, a designer, an editor, a composer: real people making hundreds of creative choices no tool could make for them. The tools are new. The creativity is human.

Human creativity. AI films are human. 🧡

Trust your gut, especially when it’s pulling you toward something new.

If you create with AI, you’ve probably heard the doubt: “That’s not real art.” “Why bother?” “Be careful.” Some of it comes from curiosity, and some of it is just discouragement wearing a concerned face.

I went to AI Film 3, the AI Entertainment Conference anyway, and I’m so glad I did. I sat in a room full of filmmakers, designers, and dreamers building something new, and doing it with real vision, craft, and heart. I watched film after film, met people who share this same obsession, and left with my head full of ideas.

Every new medium gets doubted before it gets respected. The people who move it forward are the ones who keep making things while everyone else debates. Don’t let anyone talk you out of your curiosity. Your gut knows what lights you up.

Thank you to the AI Film 3 team for such an inspiring event. I’m already thinking about what I’ll make next. 🎬 @_charles4c @aifilm3 💛
