Hold on...don’t let it go just yet! Where there’s love there’s always hope.

My sister added Banksy’s “Girl with a Balloon” in her garage as a reminder to always hold on to hope. What a beautiful piece!

Happy Mother's Day to an incredible woman who raised 5 children, grandchildren, studied to become a doctor, traveled to the Soviet Union( Russia), knows how to make the most amazing food, taught me everything I know about being a great woman, loves me and others unconditionally, supported my dreams and aspirations, prays for all her children every night, has the filthiest sense of humor, is the strongest/ most resilient person I know and the list goes. Mami te quiero muchisimo y queria hacer una madre como tu que siempre suportaba los hijos, con amor, sin limito, y con alegria! LOVE YOU HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Happy birthday to my beautiful sister Amanda! @sweetcapri I love you so so so much! I'm truly blessed to have you not only as a sister but as friend. I remember as a little girl wanting to follow your every move because I didn't want you to leave when you would come to visit. I love when the kids came over and you would leave me in charge of them 😂 trips to the mall was an adventure to me with you. I felt sooooo cool and would brag to all my friends about you! I love the woman you are and who you have become. You are an inspiration to me and many others. Please continue to be the amazing star you are Amanda. I wish we were closer and could spend more time together but I know we're busy doing fabulous shit lmao 😂 I love you and your family ! Happy birthday and wish you nothing but love, happiness, success and health! If only time could stand still...but we grow, and we age, and so do our children.
My son turns 18 today. I am overwhelmed with so many emotions, even more so when I see pics of him as a baby, a young child and now a young man.
It gets me every time, whether his birthday or not. I am and will be forever grateful for the challenge motherhood has brought me with his pregnancy, birth, and life. Having little humans you're responsible for sure does change your life! You get your priorities straight real quick!

He is now on his own, exploring his options, seeing the world...becoming a man. While I am proud of him and support him, my heart lives in fear that something might happen to my young black child with so much going on around us today. I anxiously wait for the day he decides to move back home. But then I remember, anything that can happen to him without me protecting him can also happen to him with me by his side. I don't control the outside world.

So I smile, and I cherish the times I have with him. I get angry, and frustrated but you know what's so amazing about him...he always tells me he loves me. Happy Birthday Jamal...I love you so much and would give my life for you. You are my everything!
Now get your shit together and be the man I know you are capable of becoming. Letting you go hasn't been easy. 😕 #hbd #bornday #family #son #mom #mother #fitmom #love #chocolatechip #selfie #sweetcapri #fitness #fitfam

Sister sister. We are so different , like night and day really, yet we are so much the same. I know what she's feeling even when we are far and distant. Like twins. Just like twins. She is the voice within reason when my crazy heart wants to take a big dive head first to keep me in line and in check. 👯 That's my sister. #sisters #family #love #happy #mothers #mom #fitfam #fitmom #picoftheday #fitspo #photooftheday #in#instalove #instagood #ilovemysister
