Stronger businesses. Stronger communities. 💪 What happens when you bring people from different businesses together through exercise? You build connections that go beyond the workplace. At Exchange Quay, we’re helping businesses come together, get active and create a community where people can move, connect and thrive together. From shared workouts to team challenges, exercise creates a natural way to break down barriers, build relationships and strengthen the wider business community. Because workplace wellbeing isn’t just about what happens inside your own organisation. It’s about creating a workplace community where everyone can thrive. 📍 Exchange Quay 🤝 Businesses together 🏃 Movement with purpose 🌱 A community built to thrive by @eqmanchester

A Journey Through Tone and Perspective at @eqmanchester Each steel totem features a spectrum of interconnected colours, with different hues and tonalities on every face. The colours, selected following detailed colour studies, are in a broad spectrum of tertiary tones, ranging from intense acid yellow to desaturated terracotta and deep cobalt blue. The interior of each building already had its own existing and identifiable colour palette, including strong reds and blues, which were related in some instances to its primary tenant. This meant a muted overall palette wasn’t going to work. Lead Designer on the project, Nathalie Kenning, approached her colour study in the form of a branding exercise, in order to create an identity for each totem that related to its tenants and their branding, whilst using daring contrasting and complimentary colour palettes inspired by sculpture and the surrounding landscaping and which also worked with the existing architecture. by @eqmanchester

Exchange Quay had sweet success hosting our annual Honey Harvest event recently! 🐝 Wade and his amazing team of beekeepers extracted delicious honey from our EQ hives, and shared it with our tenants in exchange for donations to a fantastic cause. We’re delighted to share we raised £227.50 for the Alzheimer’s Society! 👏   Plus, we hosted a special session for the littles ones from Kids Planet Nursery on-site, giving them a hands-on experience and sparking their curiosity about the biodiveristy at EQ. by @eqmanchester

Exchange Quay’s New Refreshed Design Vision For Campus Wayfinding Complete. A defining feature of Exchange Quay has always been its huge-scale wayfinding totems. Once a uniform, monochromatic orange, taken from the campus’s feature brand colours, the striking totems have now been transformed in a new environmental branding scheme by Jasper Sanders + Partners to form a vibrant, contemporary and ever-changing experience of colour, angles and light, mirroring the campus’s fluid interchange of people, work and ideas. Les Lang, Director, Till AM said: “The completion of the new totems is an excellent example of our continued investment programme into Exchange Quay and creating the best office campus experience for our occupiers. Transforming the external presence and wayfinding materials and our ongoing focus on wellness in the workplace as well as offering flex, traditional and fully fitted and furnished office space, is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring both current and prospective occupiers have access to the highest quality office campus in Manchester.” by @eqmanchester

Next up in our social media experiment is James Dickinson. He took the brief provided and being the oldest (and therefore wisest!) member of the team decided to actually engage with a real life content creator known as ‘Emily in Manchester’ rather than embarrassing himself in starring in his own attempt! Emily's video details her experience of spending a day down at Manchesters finest office campus - @eqmanchester in Salford Quays. Also available to view on her TikTok channel - see link below…lots of great comments and engagement by all her followers etc! 🌐 | https://www.tiktok.com/@emily.in.manchester/video/7491714361845697814 👀 Final video out next week by Fionnuala McCallion! by @eqmanchester
