It was an absolute honor to capture these adaptive athletes doing what they do best. Every event was a reminder that strength isn’t just measured in weight lifted or time on the clock—it’s measured in resilience, determination, and the refusal to quit.

So….

I had the privilege of being @cam.crosswhit friend and handler on the competition floor at his fourth CrossFit Games @wheelwod, and after this weekend, there are a few things that deserve to be said.

If you know Cam, you’ll know he’ll never be the first to acknowledge his own achievements. He’s always his toughest critic. He’ll tell you he isn’t ready, that he isn’t fit enough, and that he still has more work to do. But this weekend told a different story.

I’ve had the privilege of watching you grow over the last three years, Cam, and this year something was different, in the best possible way.

You arrived focused. You weren’t there to prove anything to anyone else; you were there to prove something to yourself. And you did exactly that and walked away with your 4th CrossFit Games gold.

We planned every workout, set goals, and you executed them. Even when two events didn’t go your way, you never let them define your weekend. You gave everything you had, accepted the result, and moved forward. That’s the mark of a mature athlete, and it’s a testament to the competitor you’ve become.

But what should make you proudest isn’t where you finished on the leaderboard but the person you are on and off the competition floor.

Four years ago, you rolled onto the competition floor as an unknown athlete, looking up to the legends of the sport. Now, the journey has come full circle.

To say you’ve found your place in this sport is an understatement.

Athletes in your division, and across other divisions—look up to you. You make time for everyone who wants a conversation, you treat people with genuine respect, and you represent this community the right way.

Cam, you’re the GOAT of your division. More importantly, you embody everything this sport is meant to stand for: humility, resilience, professionalism, and the willingness to lift others up while continuing to chase excellence yourself.

It’s been an honour to be your friend and have a front row seat to your journey.

I can’t wait to see what’s next and never stop being you ❤️

Also I know you will hate this post but unlucky.
