A coloured frame from my short film animatic (another uni assignment).

I learned a lot making this - over about five weeks, I drew roughly 150 drawings to make a three minute animatic! A number last year I would have never even attempted.

one of my uni projects from the Exploring Animation course, featuring the theme 'Light/Dark' in the style of an animation meme ('untrust us').

the change from paper to digital is deliberate i swear --

i took a very personal approach to the theme and used my art persona to represent the change in worldview/mindset from being a young kid with unlimited dreams/time/energy to a more jaded young adult with the weight of the world on her shoulders.

Some watercolour backgrounds I made for an experimental animation assignment! 🌱

My theme is Hope through the lense of nature reclaiming sites of corporate greed/enviromental destruction, such as oil rigs, coal burning and (not pictured) Tesla. I’m hoping to post the full animation on my YouTube, so keep an eye out for that 🌿 by @ere_yesterday

Art of 2024 ✨

I don’t have a favourite colour guys what are you talking about ☝️🤨

2024 was a big year for me and my art journey; I attempted backgrounds, lineless rendering, and different, less flat compositions. As a kid, I always wanted to be able to do a yearly review of my art, but I never had enough to compile…and now I do. It’s a bit surreal 😆

Here’s to a blessed and fulfilling 2025 ✨
