Villa Margherita @belmondhotelcaruso , Ravello Amalfi Coast, restored by @dast.designstudio and @eric.egan . I like to return after some time has passed to a hotel or a building I’ve renovated. I love seeing how the traces of those who have stayed there have enriched and created a living patina on materials and objects. A lived-in home gains a value that only time can give. taken in Caruso, A Belmond Hotel by @eric.egan

Villa Planchart by #GioPonti, Caracas 1953-57. Perfectly glazed ceramic wall by #FaustoMelotti accented with a custom-made mahogany topped dining table and irregular, multi-coloured marble slab doors. Divine.

@tres.lajuanita is a Michelin-level Italian restaurant masquerading as a simple trattoria in the beach side town of La Juanita, the humble cousin of Jose Ignacio, Uruguay. Chef @feixbabini creates incredibly inventive dishes every night of the week and this week’s dishes created with guest star, artisanal cheese monger @martinrosberg berg, in from Colonia, did not disappoint. A special thanks to @garden_universe for the pre-game Negroni’s at El Huequito. Always a pleasure to see you... by @eric.egan
