What if education could be more than academics? What if the classroom itself was a training ground for peace, for dignity, for children’s rights?

In this upcoming powerful workshop, Erica Moretti — Assistant Professor, author, and researcher on pacifism, refugees, and displacement — will trace Maria Montessori’s lifelong commitment to peace. From her early reflections on harmony in the classroom to her passionate letters to peace conferences in the 1930s.

Parents and educators will leave with a renewed understanding of Montessori as not just an educational method, but a revolutionary call to build a more harmonious world, beginning with the child.

This is more than history. It’s a reminder that in every classroom, and in every home, we hold the seeds of peace in our hands. 🌍💫

“The Best Weapon for Peace is the Child.” – Maria Montessori

Yesterday, we celebrated a powerful moment in the world of education and Italian culture! 🇮🇹 Imagine transforming the lives of millions through literacy—not in a traditional classroom, but through the magic of television 📺. Alberto Manzi (1924–2024) achieved just that with his groundbreaking TV program *Non è mai troppo tardi* (1960–1968), teaching Italians how to read and write across the country ✍️. His inspiring lessons bridged social divides and resonated deeply with viewers from all walks of life 💬.

Guided by empathy, active participation, and a profound respect for every learner, Manzi’s approach left an indelible mark on Italian society 🇮🇹.

📖 *L’ABC di Alberto Manzi, Maestro degli Italiani* (Anicia Edizioni, 2024) beautifully captures his pedagogical vision, presenting an “alphabet” of values:
🗳️ **Citizenship**
💬 **Democracy**
🕊️ **Freedom**
🤝 **Honesty**
❤️ **Care for others**
👤 **The centrality of the person**

These timeless ideals shaped both his classroom and his TV legacy, inspiring us all to rethink the role of education in shaping society 🌍.
