I wanted to reintroduce myself to all my new followers and those that don’t know exactly what I do..

Hi, I’m Erica York. 👋🏻 I’m a real estate developer and owner of @eycustomhomes, a commercial and residential licensed general construction company based out of Little Rock, Arkansas. I have over 15 years experience in real estate and construction. I love everything about the development and building process… here are the residential home building steps from start to finish. 🏠 (I’ll be making a more detailed video about my role in development soon… stay tuned! 😉)

The details make the home ✨ Here are 8 custom features we’ve seen in custom builds this year that we’re loving right now, from hidden safe-room doors to fluted millwork and curbless showers.

In the end, the beauty of it all is in the mundane. The big moments get the attention, but they’re rare and they pass fast. What a life is actually made of is the ordinary stuff: a cup of coffee, a walk you’ve taken a hundred times with a friend, watching the sunrise, the small work of keeping things running. If you can’t find some beauty there, you miss most of your own life waiting for the highlights.

Most meaningful things get built through repetition nobody notices: laying a foundation, showing up every day, doing the unglamorous parts right. The finished product looks impressive, but the beauty was in all the mundane steps that made it possible. 🤍 by @ericadevelops

Since starting my private pilot training, I’ve been looking for any excuse to get up in the air — and flying over Pinnacle Mountain straight to one of my favorite listings? Non-negotiable.

20 Waterview Garden Ln is unlike anything else I’ve had the pleasure of listing. Designed by Jill White Designs and built by Dillon Homes, this property doesn’t just have views — it makes you feel like you checked into a resort and never want to check out.

We just dropped the price to $1,749,000 and honestly? That’s a steal for what this home delivers. 👀 taken in Roland, Arkansas by @ericadevelops

Social media has convinced us that connection is one swipe away. Endless options, endless “better” matches, endless highlight reels of relationships that look easier than the one you’re actually in.

So people stop watering what they have. The second things get hard, the instinct is: replace it. Start fresh. Surely the next one won’t have these problems.

But no relationship — romantic, friendship, family — is ever going to be perfect. That’s not a flaw in your relationship. That’s just what relationships are. The people showing you their “perfect” connection online are showing you a highlight reel, not a real Tuesday night.

The best relationships aren’t the ones that never hit friction. They’re the ones where people chose to stay and do the work anyway — the ones that got watered, nourished, protected, instead of discarded the moment they got hard.

Replaceable is a myth social media sells you. Real connection was never meant to be disposable.🫶🏻 taken in Little Rock, Arkansas by @ericadevelops

What an honor to be in the room last night as Lisenne Rockefeller was named the 2026 Arkansan of the Year by @eastersealsar . “A Legacy of Learning” couldn’t be a more fitting tribute — she founded the Easterseals Academic Center and has spent decades opening doors for children and families across our state. Women like Lisenne show us what’s possible when vision meets persistence. Truly someone I admire and look up to. 💙 taken in Little Rock Marriott by @ericadevelops
