Happy Fathers Day to the man who taught me how to speak Spanish, how to cut a straight line 🎨 and how I am never above any task nor anyone. To the man who had us bike over 1,000 miles across France when I was 11, who sent me to live in China to learn Mandarin when I was 16 and who also let me go back and live in Cuba for a Summer when it was still illegal to go. “Just fly through Mexico” he said and I did. To the man who raised me as a single father from the age of 2 in a 2 bedroom apartment and for a few years, in a 1 bedroom apartment. I am so grateful for it all. Tea Bar is growing, and we are moving into our next chapter ♥️

After 10 beautiful years in the Pearl, our lease is coming to an end, and we have decided not to renew. While it is bittersweet to close the doors on this chapter, we are incredibly excited for what is ahead.

Tea Bar has always been bigger than one location or one place. It is a way of living. A ritual. A feeling. A way of taking time for yourself, caring a little more, and going the extra mile for something made well.

Our wholesale community has grown tremendously, and we are focusing our energy on expanding Tea Bar through wholesale, events and franchising, with the hope of bringing Tea Bar to more cities, more homes and more communities.

We are incredibly grateful for our wholesale partners throughout Portland and beyond. Please continue to support them and enjoy Tea Bar wherever you find us. We will be sharing more of our partners here, along with where you can find us popping up around town.

Our website will remain live, so you can continue to enjoy Tea Bar at home, anytime. If you are hosting an event and would love to have Tea Bar there, please reach out ♥️

Before we close our doors this week, we would love for you to come visit us and drink your favorite tea. Tea Bar has been so much more than a place. It has been a community, and we feel so fortunate to have shared it with you. If you have a favorite Tea Bar memory, we would love to hear it below ♥️

The only other team I love as much as I do my @teabar team ♥️ Bend is so lucky and while they think they are getting a beautifully designed hotel, a state of the art spa and an incredible restaurant and they absolutely are, they are getting so much more than that. This team cares not only about what they are building and every single detail behind it but who they are building it with and how integral the local community is. The joy of my life to share a product I love with so many people ♥️ @meta____angel will be teaching a @corecollective.sculpt mat class this Sunday under beautiful canopy of trees. I will be there before both classes handing out fresh matcha lemonade with my better half @bbrannagan 🍋 Grab brunch after at @g.lovepdx and browse a variety of incredible vendors. Looking back, the little things we loved as kids often shape the lives we build later. I didn’t follow a traditional path, but every step led here. I was raised by a single dad, never went to college and moved to China when I was 16. Ten years later, that curiosity and grit have grown into a company I now get to expand and franchise ♥️ by @ericaindira
