I’ve had a lot of new followers in the last couple months. Yay!! I figured it was a good time to re-introduce myself.

Whether you’re here because I’ve photographed you, you’re thinking about getting in front of my camera, or you’re a fellow photographer looking for inspiration, I’m glad you’re here. I hope you’ll find a little creativity and connection along the way! by @ericamanningphoto

Julia has been busy applying to colleges (like many of my clients) - 'tis the season! She hopes to study something having to do with fashion, and her final look sure played into her love for style. How fun is that dress!?!

Julia, CSG Class of 2027. WHAT. A. FABULOUS. SESSION!!! Julia is another EMP Team member, a dancer, an actress, and just an all-around go-getter... so everything in this session just was so natural. She has the cutest little scrunch-nose smile but also a killer serious look. Any day with Julia in front of my camera is a good one.

We had time for a few photos in the studio as well - and both Ashlyn and Crue shined like stars. 😍

Ashlyn, Canal Winchester High School Class of 2027. Literally a perfect session. Ashlyn is amazing, the weather was divine, the creek water level was low enough to do some shots there, AND Ashlyn brought her pup Crue (who is a former client of mine as well). I considered making it a requisite that clients bring their doggos with them??? 🤔 Maybe not a hard and fast rule but certainly strongly suggested. Anyway, I LOOOOOVE what we captured together.

Revenge is Best Served Cold.

Some of you may remember my image from last year, "Chef's Roux", featuring my crazy pets (pup @roux_the_day___ , and kitties @norm_and_bobby_flay_slay ). **see my story today as the image was featured in an Icon email ☺️☺️☺️.

When Roux arrived on the scene the cats were not huge fans - rightfully so because she was rotton and made it her full time job to pursue them. So Bobby Flay and his sous chef Norm were cooking some Roux up in the kitchen. 😉. Welllllll, Roux has grown up - a LOT - and it's time for some pay-back!

This is all in fun - and while things are occastionally crazy between the dog and the cats, we are seeing glimmers of harmony here and there.

I had originally planned to enter this image in this year's competitions, but truthfully I don't feel it's strong enough (at least for now), and had some others that I needed to devote my time to. But it's a fun follow-up image to last year's, and tells a little story about the ever-changing dynamic of the Manning Menagerie.

Hudson was the perfect little gentleman for his Pet Portrait! He posed like a champ, rested with his best stuffie porcupine, and he even did a trick for me! Who couldn't fall in love with that face!?

Announcement about my next Pet Portrait Mini Day coming soon!!

This is Nash, named after the Rick Nash, hockey player (see the photo with his Bluejackets bandana for his biggest smile). Nash is a handsome 12 year-young Australian shepherd mix, and is his family's "Forever Puppy." 🥹 Nash enjoys chasing squirrels, barking at anybody who dares to walk by his house, and is obsessed with French fries and redi whip straight from the can. Please see the reel I posted to learn some of Nash's dislikes.

Makara, Canal Winchester High School Class of 2027. She's been on the EMP Team for 2 years and, because of all of the "practice" we've had working together the last two years, her senior session was FLAWLESS. She is such a stunning girl (and of course that million dollar smile can brighten anyone's day).
