Purposely having tight string tension in order to execute a trick properly is a concept I have wanted to explore for a while now. I think I’ve only ever seen one other person do something like this so it’s an area of yo-yoing that I think could be explored quite a bit more and has a lot of creative potential. This trick I made not long ago is short and mostly serves as an initial showcase for the concept but I intend on seeing what else I can do with it in the future. I hope y’all like it!

I finally got this one polished up! There’s this concept in the middle of the trick where the yo-yo bounces down into the slack that I really like and wanted to make it the focal point of the trick.

It’s already over? Again?? Good lord time flies now… Here’s an edit I made reminiscing over some of my highlight moments from this year. I was working with over 600 videos so there was some stuff that I wish I could’ve included but couldn’t. Either way, I love how it turned out and I hope y’all do to. I am beyond thankful for everyone in my life that makes it so much more special. I hope y’all have a great New Year and look forward to seeing as many of y’all again as possible soon. Here’s to 2025 🍻 by @ericandreptile

I polished up that trick I put in my story the other day! The injection in this trick took me so long to troubleshoot but I’m glad I didn’t scrap it because I love how it turned out😁

Late post, but I went to the World Yoyo Contest again for the first time in 8 years! Getting to see so many familiar faces, as well as plenty of new ones, was such a huge pleasure. I couldn’t believe the amount of people that came up to me at some point to tell me that they used to watch my old yo-yo videos on YouTube. It’s very fulfilling to know that they had a positive impact on people’s lives. I had such a great time and I can’t wait to go again!

I made another new trick! This one has some interesting slack and stall motions in it so I hope y’all like it. My creativity has made a comeback recently so I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get a new trick compilation video out on YouTube soon😁

Just found this short flipping video I made from a couple years ago and figured I’d share it with y’all. So much has happened since I made this video and it doesn’t even feel real sometimes..

One last new trick before worlds! This is one I made about a year ago while waiting in line at the DMV. I found the voucher video in my camera roll not long ago and was like, “Oh. That’s kinda cool”. I tried to remember how to do it and succeed so here it is! That last suicide thing is way harder than it needs to be. I can’t wait to see y’all in a few days in Cleveland!!🤗
