It takes an extremely remarkable person to be in the Music/Arts Entertainment industry for 40 +years, very few can say the same. It’s even more remarkable that a women has held the court for all this time. Congrats and salute to you @ericarhzz for being the force in the field. 40 In Focus : SummerStage, Deep Space, Dancing In the Streets taken in SummerStage NYC by @ericarhzz

Honored to reflect on my decade at @summerstage in celebration of its 40th Anniversary this Thursday, Aug 6 in a panel discussion. My memories of SummerStage are full of heroes, scrappy solutions that some call entrepreneurial, booking coups and happy accidents, tip toeing yet standing bold, and proving skeptics wrong especially when they used to say "it can't be that good if it's free." This is a festival story rooted in die-hard love for NYC and everyone's world beyond. Thank you @erikaelliottnyc Elliott for pulling this off. You get the biggest credit of all....20+ years along with City Parks Foundation keeping this beautiful beast flourishing!
I have a few RSVP's so feel free to message me.

I love a real New York night that lets me bounce from experience to experience. Nights like tonight recharge my battery. . June 10, 2026 an epic, iconic night in NYC. Celebrating 40 years of SummerStage, and the epic win by the Knicks that brought out what I love in New Yorkers most: how we so joyfully bond en masse regardless of where we come from. Bravo to many generations of SummerStage teams, iconic artists, the people who have devoted themselves to working so hard to keeping the festival going. I deeply love how New Yorkers take their culture with a heavy dose of humanity. by @ericarhzz
