Drop Some Flames 🔥 for my Newest Work “Follow The Leader
🔥🔥🔥🔥🦾🤎

Follow the Leader 👥

explores the instinct to follow, the power of influence, and the unseen force that guides us. Two silhouetted figures move behind two larger, distorted forms, each carrying exaggerated expressions and uniquely shaped faces. Among them is a Cylinder shaped Man that embodies a sense of structure and authority and smaller oval shaped figure, a self portrait of Bones the Machine but suggesting that strength is not always measured by size.
A cropped wing enters the composition, becoming a subtle symbol of faith and spiritual guidance. While men may follow men, the leader may ultimately be following something greater
an unseen spirit, a higher power, or God.

You don’t have to be the biggest to be the strongest.

It takes an extremely remarkable person to be in the Music/Arts Entertainment industry for 40 +years, very few can say the same. It’s even more remarkable that a women has held the court for all this time. Congrats and salute to you @ericarhzz for being the force in the field. 40 In Focus : SummerStage, Deep Space, Dancing In the Streets

On Thursday August 6, before @andrewbirdmusic with @__wordlessmusic__ at @summerstage , come to the Park Ave Armory at 5-7pm for a panel conversation for SummerStage’s 40th anniversary with founder @joekillianimpresario, successor @ericarhzz, early 2000’s director @birdsongalexa and me.

Every institution has an origin story, but few have been shaped by as many hands, and as much heart, as SummerStage. As the festival marks 40 years of free performances in New York City’s parks, this panel brings together the Directors whose vision and instincts built SummerStage from the ground up. From the shows that almost didn’t happen to the moments that put the festival on the map, they’ll share the stories behind the stage — how they found the talent, took the risks, and helped create a New York summer tradition.
Join us for a candid conversation with the foundational voices who made it all possible.
