What an incredible night. ❤️
Our Music is Medicine concert in the legendary Capitol Theatre, starring @zacharylevi and @rumerwillis was nothing short of extraordinary.
A packed house, everyone there to not only enjoy incredible music and laughter, but all united in a powerful cause - to improve the mental health of others through the mission of @nerdhq_official .

I saw new friends and old, made new bonds, had an incredible time on the stage with my dear dear friend Zac, and witnessed such goodness from others. 🙌🏻

And I can’t close without recognizing our captain volunteers who were so incredibly helpful., out of the goodness of their hearts. 🤗❤️

And the mocktails (@saltlickcatering ) , the food (@heyape_ ) and cinnamon rolls (donated by @rizesweetrollz !) were delicious! 😋

And all of this couldn’t have happened without the support of sponsors like @balanceofnature , @alyssa_therecipecritic , Golbacks, and the XRoom. 🙏🏻❤️

NOT A NY YANKEES FAN? Then keep scrolling… 😂😂
The Yankees were in town ON MY BIRTHDAY, and a friend of mine gave me one of the best birthday gifts I could’ve received - tix for my family to the Yankees game!! 🤯 (thank you @zachking 🙌🏻🤗)

The Yanks got absolutely trounced, 10-1. But that didn’t matter as much, because we had an incredible time together as a family (family not pictured). And it was a wonderful reminder that birthdays are so much more about making rad memories than anything else.

Now go make some lasting memories.

Did any of our team while growing up ever think that they’d be making such a tangible impact on mental health?… Probably not, but we sure are glad they’re with us! 🤗❤️

These are the faces behind the life-saving work we do every day, helping people get therapy who can’t afford it, and bringing about happy hearts and healthy minds. 💚

Therapy can truly change and even save someone’s life. But it’s expensive. Please consider helping save someone’s life by giving, no matter how small the amount, at nerdhq.org/donate. 🙏🏻 Together we can make an incredible difference in the lives of others. by @ericartell

THIS GUY! 🙌🏻 Ever meet someone and you immediately feel like you’ve been long-time buddies? And that you just know you’re gonna help change the world together? 🌎

That sums up perfectly my experience meeting @kevinhinesstory this past week. 🙌🏻

Not only is Kevin’s story incredibly impactful (look it up), and what he’s been doing for the last 25+ years incredibly inspirational, but just as importantly, Kevin is a true genuine loving human being. (and a major nerd to boot!)

Can’t wait to collaborate with you brother! 🤝
The impact we’ll make together on mental health will be tremendous. ❤️

What a powerful and inspiring evening! ❤️🤝
Our first ‘Fireside Chat’ during the Sundance Film Festival - “Mental Health and Making an Impact” - was an honest, emotional, and highly inspirational discussion on mental health.

🙌🏻 Special thanks to our panelists @zacharylevi , Christena Huntsman Durham , @rep.eliason , Dave & Jil Hunter. We can’t express our gratitude enough to them for braving the cold weather and Sundance traffic to donate their time and amazing passion and energy.

🤗 The panelists spoke to a standing room only crowd about their own mental health journeys and the impactful initiatives that they are each involved in to make a positive change for mental health.

Highlights included:

✴️ the innovative Crisis Care Center established by the @uofuhmhi and @huntsmanmentalhealth (Christena Huntsman Durham)

✴️ free therapy now being provided by the nonprofit Nerd HQ (Zachary Levi)

✴️ the trailblazing SafeUT app and how it’s the model for other states (Steve Eliason)

✴️ the exciting upcoming children tv show promoting mental health and emotions (Dave & Jil Hunter)

🙏🏻 Special thanks go to Lisa Precious and Daphne Briggs with Music Lodge for providing the space, the logistics, and the generosity to make this happen.

🙏🏻 Special thanks also to @davidosmond , @landonsinstaworld , @jarednstewart , Paul Tew, and one of our advisory members @finneganshawn for helping invite so many meaningful and intentional guests to attend the event.

The post-panel informal conversations were just as equally inspiring and ripe with possibilities for making future impact, including with:
Danielle Brinker , @jamesbelyeu , @johnnysloanx , @danbfarr , @dyejo , @bret_engemann , @rbrookesmith , Kenneth Chang , Austin Wilson , @mcleanentertain , @farrisgerard , and many others.

Thanks to all who attended and made this such a wonderful inaugural event!

💙 Our mission at Nerd HQ is straightforward and simple - to provide free therapy to those who can’t afford it. We’re currently funding services and therapy for nearly 600 people.

Please contact @ericartell if you’d like to join us in making a tangible impact on mental health.
