And it was at my seventh National Urban League Conference, that I was elected Executive Vice President of the National Urban League Young Professionals for the 2027–2028 term.

Thank you to everyone who supported, encouraged, and trusted me with this opportunity to serve. I’m excited to get to work and look forward to Strengthening Chapters for Greater Impact across NULYP.

I’m also grateful for a wonderful NUL Conference in Nashville. Kudos to the host affiliate and YP chapter! It was filled with inspiring speakers, impactful workshops, and meaningful connections with so many respected young professionals from across the country.

Next up, let’s finish my term as your current NULYP Service & Programs Chair with our National Day of Wellness which will be held on August 29. There’s still work to do, and I’m looking forward to finishing strong!

Cheers to honoring our legacy and building an even greater future.

📸 @reese.bland & @jolieepix taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @ericatookthat

I believe that when we invest in our chapters, we amplify our collective impact and position NULYP to thrive for generations to come.

Together, we can build stronger leaders, stronger chapters, and a stronger NULYP.

I humbly ask for your support and your vote for Executive Vice President of NULYP.

I’ve spent the past 178 days inside. Today, September 5th, was too nice to sit inside. Instead I sat outside and enjoyed my birthday with a view.
