Braids can be a protective style in many ways. The approach I take is braiding your hair with your natural density in mind. NO I’m not giving you Jumbo, Heavy braids, when your hair is fine and vulnerable. Also, I recommend you spray water w conditioner or some type of leave in on your braids often. This will help prevent breakage and the drying out of your hair ends. It’s all a process so be light on yourself & remember you don’t know what you don’t know by @ericdeanstudios

Switching up the tempo. 🥁As a stylist, these are my favorite moments. When a client is ready for a major shift, I grab the shears. Change can be scary, but as you can see, the rhythm is just right.
