Had an absolutely unforgettable time in San Diego on my bachelor trip last weekend - these pictures don’t even begin to cover the whirlwind that this trip was. Grateful and thankful for y’all who came and celebrated with me and Ethel, who sadly never got her scratchers 👵🏻 by @ericgarment

Took a lovely trip with @fueledbyrachel a couple of weeks ago to a city that starts with a C, ends with an O, and in the middle has “hicag.”

If you’ve ever asked me for recommendations of where to eat in New York City, or maybe I’ve just brought it up completely independently, you may have heard me talk about Joe Junior. A coffee shop diner relic of 70s New York, it’s been a place I’ve regularly visited since childhood - and has one of the best burgers in the city for my money. The thing that makes it special is that it’s always been there for me. Some of the staff have been there since I was a kid, too, and in May 2021, the first time I went back to eat there after the world shut down, I sat at an outdoor table, and one of the long-time waiters came out to drop off menus and said, “It’s good to see you!” When I relayed this story to my mom and she went on her own a few days later, the same waiter said “I just saw your son the other day!” That’s the kind of place it is. The kind of place that sticks with you whether you’ve been one time or you’ve been going for 25 years.

Now, thanks to @fueledbyrachel commissioning this wonderful artwork from @watercolors_by_collett, I’ll have it immortalized forevermore - with the goofy face on the sign and all.

Ten years ago, we met up to get a cup of coffee. Ever since that moment, our lives have been intertwined and I have been so much happier for it with each passing day. We have shared so many new experiences and places together, we’ve made a home together, we’ve navigated difficult times together, and we have taken care of a Bean together. At the end of the day, you are always there, and you make my days better. I don’t know where I would be today without you, and I can’t wait to see what adventures await us. I love you so much, Rachel. Happy anniversary. ❤️ by @ericgarment
