Um prazer novamente 🇧🇷 Priceless knowledge obtained. Discomfort is something that makes us grow. Most people’s idea of discomfort is not related to addressing the root cause of their problems. The crazy fads that plague the internet have found little to no results. It is evident that Functional Patterns has changed the people who accept the challenge. It takes a while for your body to be able to recognize leverage correctly (This is why addressing the mechanical ⚙️ drivers of our movement is extremely important).

Not everyone has the opportunity to experience the body as we have this past week. I’m grateful for all the people who were involved in the course (different problems to solve creates biodiversity). FP South America has produced a set of problem solving human beings It’s time to put the work in 🦍 LFG! #FPSouthAmerica #Brazil #Biomechanics #HumanMovement #FunctionalPatterns taken in São Paulo, Brazil by @erick__solorzano

Repost from @functionalpatterns - Kellie discusses her journey with FP at 58 years old. From dealing with chronic neck and back pain from her years of being a bodyworker to finally building the muscle to better support her spine and shoulders. She highlights how most of us are able to do extracurricular activities with our bodies but how many of us struggle with maintaining the movement that matters in our lives, like standing and walking without pain.
Great job@ryan.john.parr @fp_whitebearlake for helping Kellie along her journey towards a stronger FP body. Thank you Kellie for talking about your experience with FP after your recent @fp.certified Human Foundations in-person course

Repetition is the mother of skill. As Bruce Lee said, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”

Today, I put in the work, honing my technique with dedication and persistence. The journey to mastery is long, but with each rep, I get closer to proficiency.

We’re perfecting our movement, starting with weight distribution and power output.

Thanks to Functional Patterns, we’ve got a clear blueprint. With practice, our movements get smoother, more efficient, and effortless.

We’re unlocking new levels of strength, speed, and agility. Our bodies are capable of amazing things when we work with them, not against them.

Quintin’s Transformation 💪🏼

My client Quintin was struggling with lower back compression, but he’s now broken free and unlocked new possibilities in his movement journey.

We focused on specific areas like thoracic rotation and pelvic tilts, which were initially challenging for him.

With practice and patience, he’s gained a newfound sense of ease and confidence in his movement. This transformation has had a ripple effect, improving his overall movement and reducing discomfort.

Quintin’s story shows us that understanding and addressing movement patterns can have a profound impact on our well-being.

By identifying and working on specific areas like thoracic rotation, we can build a stronger foundation for movement and reduce the risk of injury or discomfort.
