HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ME!!

Even if nobody else were to recognize me, I'm for sure going to recognize myself.

My crew is a whole handful, but I'm doing the damn thing lol. It's not easy, but I'm getting it done AND taking care of myself in the process.

Physically, I'm not where I want to be yet, but I'm definitely on my way.

I delivered Lauryn (baby number 4) on April 26, 2022 at 197 lbs.

I never imagined seeing such a high number when I stepped on a scale, and it hurt my heart to see “obesity” on my discharge paperwork.

I checked my weight on May 2nd and saw I was at 184 lbs, and was determined to get back to my first pre-pregnancy weight lol.

I gave myself a couple weeks before I started doing any workouts, but I began wearing my belly band immediately to help my uterus and abs start to return to their natural state.

Now, it’s August 13th, and I’m 153 lbs.

I’ve lost 44 lbs since delivery, and I’ve regained so much confidence. But believe me, I’m not done yet!

On this page, I’ll be sharing my journey and giving you lots of insights on how I’ve made it this far already.

None of it requires a lot of time or money, nor doesn’t it require some crazy restrictive dieting.

Just follow me, and I’ll share it all with you.

So, quick update: I've dropped 5 lbs in the past month.

154 lbs to 149 lbs

5 lbs may not seem like a lot, but my calorie deficit is set for a weekly loss of only .8 lbs, so I'm actually making more progress than I planned for.

I'm 41 weeks out from my next show, with like 28 lbs of fat left to go. So yea, I'm in a good place.

I'm training 4 days a week and only doing 30 minutes of cardio 3x a week.

Dropping 5 lbs while food is still high and doing very little cardio is a huge win. Excited for this next month.

This Mother's Day was absolutely wonderful 🥰

All the gifts from my babies and spending some real quality time with them. Showing love and appreciation to my mom and my Granny. Spending time with my cousins. My heart is full!

My first born & only son turns 9 years old today 🥰

My life changed when I found out I was pregnant with Malachi, again after I gave birth to him, and again when he started to display signs of Autism.

Because he's "high functioning", most people don't know that Malachi is autistic, but as his mother I'm fully aware. There are so many things we've had to face together that I never considered while I was pregnant with him. Potty training, bath time, bedtime, washing hair, school, homework, discipline, socializing, etc. is all different with neurodivergent kids... and while it can be challenging, I wouldn't change a thing about him.

Malachi has helped me to do more research, test new methods, to slow down and respond rather than react. He's shown me so much love and grace, encouraged me and run beside me. Having him first helped me to understand conscious parenting.

As he continues to grow and learn, I'm so proud of him. He has his struggles, but he doesn't allow them to stop him from dreaming big. In fact, it's go big or go home with this kid lol. He's currently self training for track and his commitment and fearlessness are truly admirable. I don't know exactly what he's going to do in this life, but I know it'll be great and I'm looking forward to being present for every step of the journey.

Yesterday, I said I'd do it, so I did it.

I wasn't feeling well when I woke up, but I didn't want to make any excuses.

This "run" was definitely more like a jog 😆 and I stopped to walk 3-4 times. This was a terrible run, but that just means I have lots of room for improvement.

I'm not at your level yet, but I started. The mustard shot actually wasn't bad at all lol.
