For Offbrand Library, we developed a web experience that combines shopping with research capabilities. The result is: everything we wanted from a library experience online. Thinking about the feeling of having a stack of books on your desk, and being able to comb through all the information sequentially and easily was the first thing that came to mind.

On the new site, you’re able to add any book in the catalog to a “stack”, then open it in the viewer to display its available images. Some books have limited scans, and for books that are fully scanned, we’ve created a new product category in the menu for you to browse through.

The experience is similar to pulling stacks in a reference library, without having to fully check out or rent the books.

A full page colour tint was also developed to complement extended browsing sessions.

Our website has been completely redesigned and is now live for you to explore. We are releasing the site together with @final.research as a collaboration product that adds personalized browsing and research tools to the shopping experience.

over the last 2 years i've been developing an exclusively screen-based relationship with researcher, writer, and vermicomposter @kaileteramoto

when we first met it was so refreshing to see someone so dedicated to a hyper-specific vision with her project @wormrelic. it's been a journey developing the visual identity, graphics, concept and research around what a website and an interactive digital publication could be today.

this publication wouldn't be possible without @droophead on visuals and the team's unwavering patience and commitment to detail

FINAL RESEARCH presents SESSION, an initiative with the goal of creating a space for global design discourse through live lecture, platforming people and practices that critically engage with design and research. SESSION is hosted at New Stadium @newsystems_ in Toronto with our guest speakers joining us virtually.  [INFORMATION]
Our first guest is Darius Ou @darius_ou , a Singapore-based graphic designer whose practice focuses on typography, motion design and graphic lore. He runs hyperpress @hyper.press , a research initiative and body of work exploring the intersections of 3D printing, graphic design and publishing—producing 3D printed books, objects and texts. He is a recipient of the ADC New York Young Guns 21 award, and the Tokyo Type Directors Club Annual Award 2026.
