For Offbrand Library, we developed a web experience that combines shopping with research capabilities. The result is: everything we wanted from a library experience online. Thinking about the feeling of having a stack of books on your desk, and being able to comb through all the information sequentially and easily was the first thing that came to mind.

On the new site, you’re able to add any book in the catalog to a “stack”, then open it in the viewer to display its available images. Some books have limited scans, and for books that are fully scanned, we’ve created a new product category in the menu for you to browse through.

The experience is similar to pulling stacks in a reference library, without having to fully check out or rent the books.

A full page colour tint was also developed to complement extended browsing sessions.

The WORM GIRL site is complete!!!!! When I begin to describe this project, it always feels as though I am opening up a can of worms and rightfully so. Much like The Alchemist, decomposition feels similar to The Language of the Soul or what we call anamnesis, a recollection of innate knowledge we acquire before birth. The secret of turning nothing into something, as within, so without. A concept that has infinite interpretation breeds complexity. In 2020, I began building DIY controlled decomposition systems to learn the ecological process of recycling food scraps. The secret was revealed, I could take decaying rot and turn it into highly nutritious inorganic soil compounds that inventively fed the food I was growing, which then in turn healed me. Research continued and I realized the same stages that occur in all natural processes also lies within the same stages during unconscious transmutation. In Jungian psychology, this is called a psychic awakening or Dark Night of the Soul journey and can begin as late as our 30’s. Vitality depends on the capacity to transform waste. So what is decomposition psychology or ecological alchemy? It is the bridge between ecological intelligence and depth psychology from a Jungian and Hermetic lens. After a year of remaining in deep contextualization, the outcome of my findings lies here within this digital home.

Fin.

I am left with one realization—psyche and soil are often trapped in the abstract judgments of human intellect. In truth, we know nothing at all. It is precisely this nothingness, the total transmutation of what was, that allows us to begin again.

I hope this helps others gain a better understanding of the shadow self, connects one closer to source, and continuity of being reborn no matter what. I would love to hear your comments, thoughts, perspective, or your own dark night of the soul journey if you wish to share here or personally through email/messaging. Link is in bio (wormgirl.us)

Standard Time welcomes back Jacques Greene alongside Leevisa and DJ EEEEEE!

Jacques Greene has been making music about the club for over a decade. Across multiple EPs, singles, and two acclaimed full-length albums, Feel Infinite (2017) and Dawn Chorus (2019) his sound has evolved into an emotional, atmospheric haze that balances intimacy with physicality. In 2020, he released ANTH01, a collection of unearthed early works and previously unreleased tracks that traced the foundations of his musical language.

Alongside his solo work, Greene is one half of Verses GT, a fully realized collaboration with Nosaj Thing that exists as the group, the album, the live show, and the visual world surrounding it. Built through in-person sessions across London, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Paris, and Montreal, Verses GT is a heavyweight, intentional body of work rooted in human connection, shared headspace, and distilled emotion, featuring contributions from George Riley, Kučka, and TYSON.

Greene also hosts a monthly residency on Rinse FM, now running for over three years, where he explores deep club music, new material, and long-form mood-driven selections. Beyond his own releases, he has collaborated with Bonobo, remixed Radiohead, produced for Jessy Lanza, arlo parks, Tinashe, and toured internationally with The xx, continually refining a sound that is both deeply personal and built for collective experience.

Working across ambient composition and electronic music, Leevisa brings an approach shaped by the simplicity of lived experience and emotion. Named by i-D Magazine as one of Seoul’s rising female artists, she has performed at venues and festivals including Halle am Berghain (DE) and Unsound. Recognized as a key figure in Korea’s underground scene, she was regularly involved in events at Cakeshop.

DJ EEEEEE aka Eric L. Chen is a Toronto-based designer, artist and DJ. His practice oscillates between sound, image, and the design of graphics, websites, objects, printed matter and visual identities for artists and brands.

“Between sun-split skin and biting my nails comma, rubbing my fingertips against the hand of the one I love, I embrace the perspective of death. In turn, I become aware of the underworld that teems beneath me.” ~worm girl

Thank you to all who helped make this possible x this is an ongoing project that investigates decomposition as an essential element of fathoming our own subconscious descents. More soon….. very soon
