“I’m not saying I’m gonna change the world, but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world.” — Tupac Shakur

These words shaped how I parent, create, and mentor. Through public art, I hope to spark curiosity, nurture developing talent, and plant seeds that will BLOOM into something greater.

Growth isn’t a competition.
We each have our own season.
When we nurture one another,
Together WE FLOURISH.

The Bloopers

The final cut never shows how many times you had to start over. 😂

Make the mistakes. Laugh through them. Keep creating.
The good stuff usually takes a few takes. 🎬

The Reflection

Some things you create last longer than the moment.
The work stays. The lessons get passed down. And maybe someone else gets the spark to create something of their own.
Pay it forward. ✨

The Community

They’ll always be able to drive by and say, “We did that.”

More than a mural, a mark on their community that’ll outlast the school year, the semester, maybe even them.

The Challenge

You don’t have to be fearless to keep going.

Courage isn’t the absence of doubt,
it’s choosing to move forward anyway.

Sometimes you just need to remember:
YOU didn’t get here by accident.

Up close, it can feel like you’re just painting one small piece. Sometimes you have to step back to see how far you’ve come.

Today was bittersweet. We spent the day exploring the city, laughing, wandering, and making a few more memories before the next chapter begins.

Now, it’s on to new adventures. It’s hard to let go, but there is no greater joy than watching your little cub grow into someone ready to find her own.

Proud beyond words. Blessed beyond measure.

a state of peace, harmony, and possibility.

115 ft × 18 ft

Painted alongside 30–40 graduating seniors, this mural became more than a painting, it became a parting gift. A love letter from one generation to the next, and to the school and community that helped them grow.

Together, we filled the wall with color, movement, and stories of becoming, a reminder to slow down, be present, and savor the beauty of now.

N O T S O L I T T L E A N Y M O R E

I’ve spent the last 18 years watching you blossom, growing into the creative, intelligent, witty, kind, and loving soul you are today.

I always knew the day would come when you’d set off on your own adventures, but that doesn’t make it any easier to hold back the tears as you begin this next chapter at Berkeley.

You’ve been my greatest blessing and my greatest creation. I’m honored to be your father. Thank you for being my best friend, my adventure partner, and my fellow Nintendo nerd.

I’m beyond proud of you, kid. You’ve thrived despite the shortcomings and challenges we’ve faced, and watching you become the person you are today has been one of the greatest joys in life.

Keep being resilient. Keep thriving. Keep blooming.

My sweet lotus flower

Love, your papá bear. 🐻🌸
