Memories: Two years ago today. I post these not as a “feel sorry me.” This is healing ❤️‍🩹. This is active grief. I try really hard to remember the good times and NOT the last days that haunt me. It’s reminder to count your blessings. I miss Terri Raines and Menzie. by @ericraines12

Join Eric Raines for Classic Country Saturday Morning!

Turn up the radio and take a trip back to when country music told the truth—and you could hear every word. It’s the legends, the deep cuts and the songs that still sound just as good today.

What classic country song takes you back every time? 🎶🤠

Dead air is one of the biggest no-nos in radio. But today, on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Bob Cole let the silence speak.

Twenty-five years later, this day is still heavy in so many ways—and sometimes there just aren’t words.

Never forget. 🇺🇸 by @ericraines12

If you're a Texas Country music fan, you should know Eric Raines. But did you know he's also an incredible drummer??

“What would your dad say?”

That’s what Rita Ballou asked me when I told her I didn’t think I had enough time to learn the songs and play with Charlie Daniels.

That pretty much ended the argument. 😂

So I learned the songs, sat down behind the drums and got to play with a legend.

Still one of those moments I’ll never forget.

Told Bri Bagwell the story on the Only Vans Podcast. Here’s a little piece of it. 🥁

Fun night at the Moody Center with Ella Langley! 🤠🔥 Loved catching up with Kaitlin Butts, getting to see Gabriella Rose, and seeing Adam Hood and his family is always a bonus. Good music, good people and one of those nights that reminds me why I love what I get to do. 🎶❤️
