A little message to say thank you to everyone who signed up for September’s issue of Club Curio! 💌

By now, your little orange envelope of goodies should either have reached you already or be arriving within the next few of days if you’re international 🌎

This issue ended up becoming quite a sentimental one, with some of my best designs yet I think! I’d absolutely love to hear your thoughts on it too — whether complimentary or constructive. It’s been so exciting sending this next issue out into the world, and your feedback will really help shape future editions 🫶

I can’t wait to share what I’ve created for next month! ✨

Those who’d like to join for October’s print club, sign ups are open in my bio 🔗

When I first started my print club, I knew I’d need to print large batches of the same design for my subscribers

After looking at the price of professional print presses, I decided to find a slightly more affordable solution…

⭐️ A tortilla press ⭐️

I’ve been using this for my lino printing since I started making lino cuts last September, and honestly, I’ve been amazed by how well it works

After 6 issues of Club Curio and 500+ lino prints, it’s become one of my most-used printmaking tools. The pressure is consistent, the prints come out beautifully, and for the scale I’m working at, it does exactly what I need

The only real limitation is size. I’ve found I can get great results up to around A5, but anything larger is going to require a different solution

So for now, I’ll be sticking with my trusty tortilla press. A proper print press can wait
