What a blast from the past finding these while organizing the garage was!
Before the burn had cell service, before every phone had gps, before find my… these gave me driving directions to Gerlach, while out there had a street map, showed where the other radios were on it, were decent walkie talkies, and could send ephemeral text messages. Worked pretty well at Coachella and other festivals, too!

I had a great time on the @the.peoples.banana at @libfestival! It's pretty amazing we were able to put together that new sound system on site, get it dialed in, recover from burning out our first generator, and still rock it all weekend. Thanks for everyone who danced, our floor was always vibey as hell! by @erik.stampy

Sometimes my van projects are elaborate electrical, woodworking, or plumbing
Sometimes they’re a $7 magnetic whiteboard so we can let friends know where we went, or they can leave a message for us by @erik.stampy

Words cannot express how much of a pain running these circuits was, but we have proper power distribution on @the.peoples.banana now! by @erik.stampy

We are headed back to @libfestival with @the.peoples.banana! @iamktcubb spent the last few weekend days helping upgrade the electrical to support our huge sound system upgrade and refreshing fabrics. Tomorrow more, and there’s a great crew making sure we’ll hit the ground running. I’m very excited to be part of the Saturday night lineup and I think we’re gonna have a great time. by @erik.stampy

I escaped into creation and had a lot of fun doing it. Yay for making spaces feel more magical, happy, home.

It's been a while since I've posted a garage update, and surely that's the thing my friends are most concerned about right now. Because @ktcubb.photography also uses this space, we wanted to make it feel nicer for shoot times. And I gotta say I like it just for feeling Calmer in there! by @erik.stampy

My day was amazing. I am 1 year sober as of today and I couldn’t have asked for a better time spent with my love.. making a picnic, taking some photos over looking tie moonrise onto Los Angeles & then eating out at new Ramen place in town, Mensho Tokyo (drool). Feeling pretty, magical, free, inspired, silly, cheesy, romantic, seen, heard, enough ~ today ~ 🙏🏼 it’s all just one day at a time anyway.
@erik.stampy my love thank you for your continuous love and faith in me. Being my biggest cheerleader and supporter through these last 10 years, and now this last year with this whole new way of being. Never shying away from me or the truth. I love you so much and I love making and creating and capturing moments, time, days like these. It’s the little things, the simple things, the in-betweens. I’m here for it all! Cheers to living life truly fully 🥳🥂✨🌝 by @erik.stampy
