I dread deathversaries. Tomorrow it'll be 2 years since Tadpole changed forms and it feels like a train just ran me over. He woulda been 10. He woulda been the cutest tripaw there ever was and probably gain fame along the way because of it. My boy is flying free though. He's got all 4 legs and he's flopping around like usual still. He's fully healed and happy and he's always with me. I know this. Changing forms is tough, I'd like to hold on forever, ya know, ...life just isn't like that. So as I feel all the feels today and tomorrow I am reminded of how grateful and special I am to even of had a Tadpole in my life to begin with. And I know another familiar will come along and my love will filter into that being in the best way I know how. But for now I will continue to day dream about my boy dancing in the heavens being cute and that's going to be good enough for me. 💝🥹🐾🪽🌈

I got a new toy for my birthday and the very first thing that I zoomed up on was this!!

Many of you know this.. but if you don't know... I have an irrational fear of slugs.

I've had it since I accidentally slipped on one with my hands growing up in Ohio.

Most recently I've been doing a lot of internal discovery and self work and this happens to be the second and recent slug disturbance in my life. About a month ago while I was dealing with a communication block, a slug happened to appear on my ARM!! I freaked! And then I breathed deep~ and started laughing hysterically because it clicked. The universe just gave me my biggest fear, landing right on my arm with no way to get it off but with my own help. I was in a place of serenity. Because I thought, well, when I deal with this first big fear of removing slug from body then anything following will be a walk in the park and I overcame that block ledge and built up that courage just like that! 🫰🏻.

So long story short, this second appearance of a "surprise slug" has me.... not so afraid. (I still don't like em) because I'm learning to fight my fears with all this self help I'm doing and it couldn't have been a more perfect example of real life situations. How fear is built in the head and how I proved to myself that I can overcome it and keep myself safe and strong in the sense that courage is fear masked. That same feeling, I now recognize in my body, is there to help me get thru whatever it is presented to me.

Like this slug. Sure it scared me in the sense that I felt that fear/courage in my body. Yet this time I stayed with it and had a more curious eye. I think I'm reaching acceptance. .

I was curious where this slippery silly small creature was going??? And how fast it was moving. I couldn't look away. Until I slip here around 1:16

Loving my new toy and new outlook 💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Fucking fears... amiright. 🤪
